Lorenzo Alexander Injury Update?
For those who did not see the game, DT Lorenzo Alexander lost his helmet during the initial push of the defensive line. He followed the play, helmetless, and made the tackle along with another Skin (I believe a safety). During the tackle, his cheek and the facemask of his teammate collided, an impact that, visually, could best be described as what it would look like if I dropkicked a Reuben sandwich.
Any word on his injury in the news? I haven't seen anything so far. |
Re: Lorenzo Alexander Injury Update?
That was nuts. It brought back memories of Ravin Caldwell.
It looked like he got in in the cheek. It was Reed Doughty that hit him. No update. |

The hustle was great, but you gotta be smart too. Leading with your head on a tackle without a helmet...not too smart. He's lucky all he got was ground round cheek. |

Drop kick a reuben sandwich!!![/QUOTE] In my less mature past, that's how I've described the "lady parts" of a few regrettable one-night stands. I'm just happy to have entered it into polite conversation. Also available: "Took a chainsaw to a boiled ham." |

I've always gone with "It looks like someone threw a hand grenade into a deli."

Big heart! Normal FACE. I'm sure he is fine, nice to watch him give his all!

Re: Lorenzo Alexander Injury Update?
I know the guy is trying to earn a spot on the roster and all, trying to show hustle. There is a border though and that was insane.

Re: Lorenzo Alexander Injury Update?
isn't Alexander the one who helped score the defensive touchdown, by wiping out the qback?

That is just about the funniest thing I have ever heard! The local bar in Clearspring has a band every Friday night. This week's act is "Whisker Biscuit. |

Re: Lorenzo Alexander Injury Update?
They now have a new nick name for him. "Scarface"
|
Re: Lorenzo Alexander Injury Update?
Scarface as they now call him was voted as the #1 play of the first preseason games of the NFL by the NFL Network. It was dumb for him to dive face first into the runner but you have to give him a thumbs up for his desire to make the play.
