2007 NFC East Predictions
Now that we know our schedule, throw up some NFC East predictions.
I'll go first, obviously. Redskins 11-5 Eagles 9-7 Cowboys 8-8 Giants 6-10 |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
I like the looks of that too
Skins, 10-6 Dallas, 9-7 Eagles, 9-7 Giants 6-10 I don't think our division is that good, but it has parity. A few injuries could be the only difference between the top 3 |

We know THAT very well. :( |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
Eagles 10-6
Cowboys 10-6 Redskins 8-8 Giants 7-9 There are reasons to be optimistic about this season (e.g., Portis-Betts, Campbell, a better D with a deeper depth chart), but Campbell is unproven, if promising, and the defense has to improve in a big way. |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
Dallas 10-6
Eagles 10-6 Giants 9-7 Redskins 8-8 Were unproved at quaterback, we can't stop the run or rush the passer. Not a formula for success in my opinion and we have not addressed these issues this offseason! |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
This is strange for me. Every year I go down the schedule and look at who I think will win. Obviously, injuries really change the landscape.
Skins: 11-5 Dallas/Philly 9-7 Giants 8-8 A lot of it depends on how hard we come out. The first 3 game stretch is hard, and so is the end of the season. But we have a nice easy stretch after the bye. |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
Way too early to tell, but here's my early predictions
Skins 16-0 Eagles 0-16 Cowboys 0-16 Giants 0-16 |

Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
Redskins 11-5
Eagles 9-7 Dallas 7-9 Giants 5-11 |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
Redskins 13-3 (with a little luck)
Cowboys 9-7 (Romo the Homo is demoted back to PA/Fieldgoal holder; TO is hospitalized after getting high-lowed over the middle by ST and MW, misses rest of the season) Eagles 8-8 (regret letting Garcia go after McNabb goes down in week 2) Giants 6-10 (missing Tiki, Strahan snaps and bodyslams Coughlin at a team meeting in week 6; Tim Lewis takes over the reigns and struggles down the stretch) |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
Eagles 10-6
Cowboys 9-7 My boys 9-7 Coughlin 6-10 |

I said that there are reasons to be optimistic. I didn't say that I was incredibly optimistic. I also said that there are big question marks which loom and cannot be ignored. I could see them doing really well (10-6), but I can give them more than an 8-8 mark despite my stated reasons for optimism. |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
C'mon SGG don't you know we're supposed to be towing the company line here? Aren't we just a bunch of puppets?

Good to point this out for all those visitors and members who think that all mods think alike and "oppress" dissenting points of view. |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
dont care about the record. as long as the last game against dallas means something, and the skins win

Yeah, I don't know what was more sweet about 2005 - getting into the playoffs, or keeping the Cowboys out. |

I would NEVER predict anything but playoffs in April. Just not programed to accept anything but sucess for the Redskins. We expect that from the Moderators as well. SGG should be banned for the entire season! Pacman Style!!! |

Yeah, really. For posting such ridiculous rubbish in my thread, I am going to perform a member's ban (equivalent to a citizen's arrest) and demand that you're gone as long as Chris Henry. The only thing saving the "Sheriff" from a Pacman Jones ban is that he didn't give us a losing record. I can do this because we play Tampa Bay this year. Sheriff Gonna Getcha = :benched: |

Yeah, wait until King Danny reads his post. |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
My 11-5 mark for the Skins is only because they'll lose a couple of games that they should win, as EVERY team does. Going by our schedule, we could have 13 wins. :)

Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
The way I see it:
Washtown:11-5 Philly:10-6 Dallas:8-8 NYA:7-9 |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
Injuries are such a factor it is really hard to tell. I agree with the general concensus that the East is wide open and could be won by anybody.
I suspect the Eagles have a little juice left in the. They haven't played quite the same the last couple years and I think they have a shot to be a quality team. The Cowboys could be good but we'll see if Phillips can pull it together. I think they have the most questionable QB situation in the division since I think Romo is about as over-rated as a QB can get. The Ginats will be as good as Eli can be. We'll see. We'll be as good as Jason and Gregg Williams can be. We'll see. |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
It is ANOTHER year that the East is ripe for the taking. We simply have to step to the plate!

Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
Redskins 13-3
Eagles 10-6 Giants 8-8 Cowboys 7-9 |

Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
My Prediction straight up is 6-2 in the middle of the season. 5-3 at the end the season. = 11-5. NFC Division Champions once AGAIN.

Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
Eagles 10-6
Skins 9-7 Cowboys 9-7 Giants 5-11 The middle of our schedule is looking nasty, and I predict that the Giants' run game tanks w/o the Barber. |

I dont see us getting anymore than 9 wins. |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
Eagles: 10-6
Redskins: 9-7 Cowboys: 8-8 Giants: 5-11 |
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions

Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
hopefully we can win some division games this year that the key we cant go 1-5 again,
|
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
I say 11-5....with a few games going either way.
|
Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
This season will pretty much be decided by our record vs. Philadelphia. Hope I'm not oversimplifing too much.
I'm going to error on the side of pessimism (that way I can't dissapoint myself): Eagles 12-4 Redskins 9-7 Cowboys 7-9 Giants 6-10 That's with two losses to Philly (3-3 in the division overall). One win over them and we are in good position to get a WC. Sweep them and we can take this division easily. |
