I'm looking to start up a new NFL blog called [URL="http://nflconnection.wordpress.com/"]The NFL Connection[/URL]. I'm looking for people who want to be contributors to the blog. The main qualification I'm looking for is people who can write and who preferably have some blogging experience. You can write on anything NFL related, any team or topic. Please PM me if you are interested.

If I'm missing someone please let me know. Here are some more details as to what I'm thinking about for this.

I'm thinking about "assigning" divisions of the league to people and that would be your area of focus. I'm looking for pretty regular contributions, even if you just visit ESPN or NFL.com every day and post a link on the blog to any relevant news items and maybe write up a quick 1-2 paragraph comment on that article.

And then of course you can contribute anything else you like, such as articles regarding player analysis, coaches, fantasy football, salary cap, etc. I'm thinking of this blog being a fan driven NFL blog where someone can visit and read news, editorials, game summaries, etc.

I'm looking into setting up a message board for us, perhaps just a free one hosted on proboards so we can have our own place to communicate.

Any ideas, thoughts?

I'm thinking of doing some sort of bastardized combo of Kenny Mayne's Mayne Event with Peter King's 10 Things I Think I Think.

I'd love to know why the NFL let a bunch of inmates ref the game in Denver last night. They gave them ref jerseys but they made them wear their own prison issued striped pants. It was odd.
