|
Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
I know this thread is almost pointless but I love it. Depends on who we're playing but I'd say the average is 11 guys

I was going to write that! You stole my thoughts...where is the thought police when you need them? |
Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
Cooley fumbled 4 times last year.
Moss and Portis both fumbled 3 times each, why do people only crack on Cooley?? |

Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
Cooley seemed to have his fumbles toward the end of the season and also had a few fumbles that we ended up recovering. If i recall his fumbles were almost always the result of a decent hit or an unsuspecting rip from behind. I don't remember any egregious fumbles that were the fault of poor ball protection. Just basic bad luck.

Ask the Dallas secondary...LOL
Cooley fumbled 4 times last year.

I mentioned his fumbles, and there was a time when I thought we weren't getting what most of us expected with his YPC average. On a side note, those burgundy jerseys are macked out. I really, really wish the team would wear them more at home. |
Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
Honestly, Cooley isn't that "huge" of a guy, but he just drags people with him constantly.

Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
Maybe I'm ripping on Cooley because he fumbled in the wild card game against the Bucs and that's the last fumble I remember?
Also, I don't remember anyone not ripping on Portis right after the Oakland game. He was a big time goat in that game! |

I think it's because during his rookie campaign he didn't fumble at all. |
Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
Chris Cooley doesn't get tackled. He allows himself to be brought down at a time and place of his choosing. He's like that fast kid fom The Incredibles. He has to hold back or his cover as a superhero will be blown. Chris Cooley got tackled? lol. riot!
|
Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
Hold back his cover? Captain Chaos is pretty common knowledge. ;)
|
Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
That's an old trick designed to throw off the scent. Jokingly admit you really are the superhero.
|
Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
The two Playas (Redskinettes) got taken down by Cooley. Or was it vice-versa?
|
Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
Speaking of alter-egos...

All I know is SOMEONE went down. Wait, that was the Carolina cheerleaders. ZING! |
I think it's because during his rookie campaign he didn't fumble at all.
I think its a combination of that and the fact that some of his fumbles where in crucial games/moments. |
Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
About as many licks as it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop
|

If he holds on to it ,1 New York Giant .:spank:
|
Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
FUmble stats are a bit misleading. We got a couple lucky down by contact calls, and at least Cooley has a knack for fumbling it out of bounds.
In my opinion, Cooley has two problems: ability to break double coverage (he got much better at it this year towards the end, and I hope he gets doubled up all next year because that means we have someone wide freaking open), and his fumbling. Both of these aren't bad problems and for where we drafted him, Cooley was a steal. |

:nono: trust me he dont need a gun....for a little H-Back |

Re: How Many Players Does it take To Tackle Cooley??
It takes the same number of licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop.
