Coach Gibbs

He's really an old-new Redskin. :)

As for favorite new player, I'm torn between the Canes; Portis and Taylor. I think both will have huge impacts on their respective sides of the ball.

RedskinRat 04-27-2004 05:22 PM

I'm really trying hard to rein in my enthusiasm after the last few 'great' offseasons. This year I'll patient and more thoughtful before claiming a 20 year Super Bowl domination. That'll come next season forth.

beg8878 04-27-2004 05:32 PM

Probably Portis, but I think Barrow will be a great vocal leader and his intensity will rub off on the others...

:offtopic:

Man I am starting to think about our defense....they have an oppurtunity to be really, really scary

SKINSnCANES 04-27-2004 05:36 PM

Definitly Portis and Taylor, no question.

Ahhhh.. there he is. I was hoping you didn't get hit by a bus or something. I've gotten really used to seeing SKINSnCANES in the "last post by" column all down the page.

And, needless to say, I am quite shocked by your selections above.

;)

SKINSnCANES 04-27-2004 05:45 PM

haha, ya I took a day or so off. A friend is in town and I think when I went to check the site it was while Matty was changing some thigns and I couldnt figure out how to get to what I was looking for. I didnt have the problem today so I think it just hadnt all been uploaded at the time.

JWsleep 04-27-2004 05:46 PM

Hey, what about Cooley, or that guy who picks garlic? Don't rule them out!!!

(So far, it's Portis. He's got the mouth of Smoot, the confidence of Ray Lewis, and the legs of, well, Portis...)

offiss 04-27-2004 05:50 PM

I have been on the taylor band wagon since I knew we were drafting 5th, that's why I am going to go with soon to be hall of famer ladell bett's.

OK only kidding, but I do like him to really step up this year in a limited roll.

It's taylor all the way baby!

Duffman003 04-27-2004 06:14 PM

I'm a fan of Brunell, maybe one of the only ones.

Daseal 04-27-2004 06:16 PM

Marcus Washington for me. I think he's going to blossom into the real deal.

Portis, Taylor, Springs, etc all amazing pickups, but I think Washington will allow LaVar to do a lot more.
I'm a fan of Brunell, maybe one of the only ones.
Don't forget his immediate family.

SmootSmack 04-27-2004 07:10 PM

Kozlowski! No question about it. This guy is the truth! And don't sleep on Khary Campbell. He can ball

But seriously folks... I think Daseal is right Washington is going to emerge as an unbelievable pick-up

skinsfanthru&thru 04-27-2004 07:11 PM

i'm a brunnel fan but with these choices i'm gonna have to go with taylor or portis. and i'd have cooley up there instead of kozlowski.

saden1 04-27-2004 07:17 PM

I've always been a Brunnel fan but I'm going to have to go with Portis. If he can rush for 1600 I'll be a happy Joe Shmoe.

offiss 04-27-2004 08:16 PM

OK enough of this kidding around and beating around the bush, I think I speak for everyone here when I say the name of, ADE JIMOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PSUskinsfan11 04-27-2004 09:34 PM

Taylor....hard to pick between him and portis and even barrow or washington but i had to go with the heavy hitter D wins championships!!!!!

I have the exact same feeling.
