I would be sad. He's been around forever! I remember when he got burnt in that Falcons game in Steve Spurrier's Second year against their back up QB. Simple Pump and go.

Rogers gets burned just as much and he's a 1st round draft pick starter!

Unless Rogers can turn things around this season he's a terrible BUST! Couldn't catch a cold and falls for play action EVERY time!

I really like Jimoh. But not so sure if he will make it, could go either way. Could depend on injuries?

Rogers didn't play that bad. He was the only corner we had that was in position to get his hands on the ball. There's a reason he's not a WR. Let's also remember he was a 2nd year player at a difficult position. Stop complaining about chasing free agents when you're not patient enough to let drafted players grow.

Jimoh will make it without doubt. He's a demon on special teams and works his ass off. Excuse me, fights his guts out...

He is our best special team guy. I dont see him going anywhere. I think we will keep Springs, Rogers, Smoot, Macklin, Butler, and Jimoh.

Re: Will Jimoh Make the team?

Will make it on ST ability. However, if he is cut, I think it says volumes about our depth and the state of our team; same as with Rock. If these guys get pushed out then we are starting to get real depth.

Jimoh is a solid gunner. But you really believe he's our BEST ST guy?

yes i honestly do. Everytime we need a big tackle on a punt return who makes it jimoh! Who caused all 3 of those fumbles against the sehawks in the playoffs? Jimoh? He is our best Special Teams player. He constantly pins balls inside the 5 as well.

Re: Will Jimoh Make the team?

the question becomes how well can the other corners play special teams and how is shawn springs health. If Spings looks like he is 100%, then the 5th corner better be a great special teams guy. If Spings isn't real healthy, either the special teams play may be sacrificed for corner coverage ability, or Spings could just be let go. Two out of those three ways, Jimoh makes the team.
