I'm starting to think that being named Mike Williams is a surefire way to make yourself a first round bust...and weight problems:
No matter how much Carroll likes him, however, it's highly unlikely that Williams will actually play for the Seahawks in 2010. The 6-foot-5 Williams is listed at 230 pounds but has reportedly weighed in at 270 or more. After playing for the Lions in 2005 and 2006, he played briefly with the Titans and Raiders in 2007 and hasn't played in a regular-season game since then.
|

I recently changed my comment at the bottom to the home page since the new hires page stopped working. Then today while trolling Extremeskins looking for any new info (cause I'm starved, LOL, and waiting to see T.O. picked up by us) I saw the JC possibly traded to Raiders thread. I came to my favorite site ;) to pass on a little rumor mill. Especially since I did not see it anywhere else. I started looking all over....ESPN, CBS, PFT, several others before I finally saw it on DCPSR which offered that the heard it on ESPN 980. So no, no one is paying me. I was just hoping I got the jump on others on this site for a change. :) But I prefaced it saying it was RUMOR. |

Anyways on a different note, Phillip Daniels is weighing 302, max weight was 308 while powerlifting, and they're telling him he can get up to 320. from his facebook "Phillip Daniels Sushi time. Yes, the same guy I thought we should sign as a free agent last year
That reminds me. How serious are Marshall's domestic violence incidents? Is it a case were him and his girlfriend/fiance engage in loud shouting matches that scare the neighbors or does the evidence point to him being a woman beater? I saw a story that said he crashed his car into his girlfriends and then threw a rock at the window. Another time he shot a gun in the air during an argument with his father. I've been watching the OTL report on Marshall and so far it seems like they're a very physical couple. My personal opinion is that he's not a woman beater but he walks damn near close to the line. Stuff like crashing your car into hers (though she did try to block him) then throwing a brick doesn't seem to have the makings of a stable person if you ask me. On the other hand she doesn't seem to hesitate to slap him, scratch him, or anything else that comes to mind when she gets upset with him. [YT]Q4A756xTC0s[/YT] |

They already broke up for the 1,000th time. Only this time Marshall got a new girlfriend who's now his finace. They were both of them were seen hitting, kicking, and yelling at each other outside their condo (which I assume is in Buckhead). Also I think both Marshall and his ex grew up in a nice neighborhood, so I don't know if the term "hood-rat" is appropriate. One things for sure though, Marshall is definitely an idiot, but at the same time he's also an idiot that's good for a 1,000 yards in a bad year. |

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)
I don't see any fire behind the smoke where Landry is concerned. He's always been a guy who does whatever he pleases right? If his agent has any brains he's explained to Laron his trade value is practically zero, so if he hopes to rebound his career at this point AND earn another decent contract he should be working on a far better year (wearing the B & G). If Shanahan/Allen trade him now it says just how little they think of this kid.
I would feel sooooooo sorry to see Jason land in Oakland :( On the flipside it's one of the few franchises in the league he could fight for the starting role. |

i dont even want to bite, but i will. the eagles traded us their starting qb so that we wouldnt take a guy in the draft? absolute nonsense. among other issues like his shoulder and lack of experience in a pro style offense, he wasn't going to be there by the time we drafted at 4. it's pft for goodness sakes! |

That seems like a lot of trouble for a huge unknown, especially one that is likely going to the Rams. What is known is that McNabb is currently one of the most accomplished QB's in the league and he instantly makes the Redskins better. |

Not to mention that Bradford will be gone by the 4th pick.

I don't care how the coaches would spin it, I will be pissed if they ship out the best DT in the league for a 3rd rounder. That is cutting off your nose to spite your face and is just plain stupid. |
