Yeah, I agree with you on China Chico. I used to hate Lebron, which peaked right around the time of the decision. Then he started speaking his mind a little more and I started to respect him for using his platform to effect change worldwide.
Then the NBA China scandal happened and he basically turned a blind eye, and now I'm back to having little respect for him. The NBA is in a unique position because I'd say out of the big 4 it's probably the biggest American league in China, but they are definitely turning a blind eye to Chinese transgressions so they can keep making money.
I think a lot of things are happing for the better right now in the country...it might be the right time to reset the relationship with China. We may have to pay a little more for items...it will be tough but we can do it. I’d like to see more options to for other developing countries in south and Central America...India...and other developing countries in Asia. But we should be really mad about COVID, Hong Kong and these concentration camps. 2020 Is a hellavu year. |

Pompeo’s remarks followed reports that Microsoft MSFT, +0.54% is in advanced talks to buy the U.S. operations of TikTok, which has been a source of national security and censorship concerns for the Trump administration. “These Chinese software companies doing business in the United States, whether it’s TikTok or WeChat — there are countless more ... are feeding data directly to the Chinese Communist Party, their national security apparatus,” Pompeo said on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” “Could be their facial recognition patterns. It could be information about their residence, their phone numbers, their friends, who they’re connected to. Those — those are the issues that President Trump has made clear we’re going to take care of,” he said. TikTok’s U.S. user data is stored in the U.S., with strict controls on employee access, and its biggest investors come from the U.S., the company said Sunday. “We are committed to protecting our users’ privacy and safety as we continue working to bring joy to families and meaningful careers to those who create on our platform,” a TikTok spokesperson said. |

Four years later, Republican senators admit, "yes, Trump conspired with the Russians" https://www.yahoo.com/news/four-years-later-republican-senators-112902404.html It's a red-letter, if sad, day on the hypocrisy beat when after three years a Republican-majority Senate Intelligence Committee comes out with a 1,000-page report finding there was a whole lot of direct contact between the Trump 2016 campaign with Russian intelligence operators. You know, the opposite of what Donald Trump has argued forcefully over and over again is a hoax. Even Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), the new committee chairman, says while it does not represent "collusion" — a conclusion that prompted Sen. Angus King (I-Maine) to say Rubio was not reading the same report he did — he did acknowledge a whole lot of interaction between Team Trump and Team Russia. Of course, Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III also would not put the "collusion" label on myriad interactions with Russians, for different reasons, to avoid a political conclusion. That allowed Trump, Attorney General William P. Barr and supporters of the president, including the convicted Roger Stone and former campaign chair Paul Manafort, to repeat that lack of labeling as a launch point to investigate the investigators. But the Intelligence Committee did "painted a stark portrait of a Trump campaign eager to accept help from a foreign power in 2016, and a candidate closely involved in the effort," said NBC News. Here's a link to the report itself, which highlighted some previously unreported evidence, including three allegations of potentially compromising material relating to Trump's private trips to Russia that were unconnected to the dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele, at which Rubio took aim once again. The committee found that Trump's team knew ahead of time that emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee by Russian intelligence agents would appear in Wikileaks, and worked with Wikileaks to produce an "October surprise" toward winning that election. Trump repeatedly has denied this, and has denied discussing the emails with Stone, who worked with Wikileaks. He lied to Mueller and to us, and has whined about it for four years. Now, Trump says he wants to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin again before November and we worry that not enough has been done to forestall new election interference. |

Oh Jacob Blake was armed too. Say it with me
I don't have an opinion on Jacob Blake yet because I understand both sides. He had a weapon, he obviously could've been going for it, cops need to protect themselves. On the flip side, 4 cops easily should've been able to restrain one man and he never should've gotten to the point where he could open the door. Shooting someone in the back is a major red flag to me though, it's just poor training on the cop's part. Also I'm just gonna say it, you clearly don't care to separate protesters and violent rioters, they're all the same to you so they all earn their death sentence by participating in a protest. You also don't care to realize these alt-right goons go out there intentionally looking to stir shit up so they have an excuse to attack protesters. I totally 100% disagree with you on this and tbh your statement reminds me of my coworker, who thinks illegal immigrants should be immediately shot when they cross the border to deter others from trying. You're harboring on borderline extremist thoughts. Also seriously did you see the video from Kenosha? Dumbass tripped and fell and then rolled over and shot dude point blank in the chest. Re: The hypocrisy of the ________
What groups are considered right-wing extremist groups? And why are they qualified as right-wing?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-wing_terrorism A report in The Washington Post, published on November 25, 2018, showed violent right-wing-related incidents up, and left-wing-related incidents down. Total domestic terrorism incidents was down to 41 in 2001, from a high of 468 in 1970, but then went up to 65 in 2017. Of those 65 events in 2017, 36 were right-wing-related (with 11 fatalities), 10 were left-wing-related (with 6 fatalities), 7 were related to Islamist extremism (with 16 fatalities), and 12, including the 2017 Las Vegas shooting, were categorized as "Other/Unknown" (with 62 fatalities, including 58 from the Las Vegas incident). The report found that 2018 was a particularly deadly year, with 11 people dying in the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting, 2 others in an incident in Kentucky, and two more in a shooting in Tallasshee. All three incidents were right-wing related.[89] The Post reported that the upsurge in right-wing violence began during the Barack Obama administration and picked up steam under the presidency of Donald Trump, whose remarks after the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017 that there were "some very fine people on both sides" is widely seen as giving confidence to the right that the administration looked favorably on their goals, providing them with "tacit support". A former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence, is quoted as saying that "[political leaders] from the White House down, used to serve as a check on conduct and speech that was abhorrent to most people. I see that eroding. ... The current political rhetoric is at least enabling, and certainly not discouraging, violence."[89] According to analysis by the newspaper of data from the Global Terrorism Database, 92 of 263 domestic terrorism events – 35% – that occurred from 2010 to 2017 were right-wing related, while 38 (14%) were Islamist extremist-related, and 34 (13%) were left-wing related. Not only that, but a criminologist from John Jay College stated that right-wing attacks were statistically more likely to result in fatalities.[89] https://www.splcenter.org/hate-map Go to the map hit a dot and the name of the group comes up. |

Doesn’t matter when criminals don’t obey the law and a majority of gun crime is with an illegally possessed weapon. It’s not the gun, but the people. |
You didn't prove any fucking point!! You still have not responded to the actual article Chico posted. You could have posted your Trump post as it's own post as it had nothing to do with the article. You just can't let anyone else be criticized without talking about Trump.
Yeah I did, you just don't accept it,very trump like of you. |
Re: The hypocrisy of the ________
Where are all of you on Pelosi getting her hair fixed at A) A salon in San Francisco that is not allowed to have people indoors and then B) blaming the salon owner for it?
A football player talks about COVID and there are lots of opinions, Pelosi literally breaks the protocols where she is and no opinions. I hope when I wake up tomorrow we have some opinions that talk about this (without somehow talking about Trump). Edit - She has apparently got so much hate, she's going to leave the community she has been in for 12 years. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/erica-kious-nancy-pelosi-hair-salon-owner "Salons in San Francisco had been closed since March and could only reopen for outdoor hairstyling services on Sept. 1. Pelosi said she understood that coronavirus restrictions allowed for a one-on-one appointment indoors." So the Speaker of the House doesn't even understand the COVID rules in her district? Lol. She's either a fucking moron or a lying piece of shit. JK, she's both. |

I want anyone that isn't G1 to clarify what point he proved to all us Trumpsters, by responding to the article without even discussing the article 1%. Someone help me out here. What relative point did I miss? |
Re: The hypocrisy of the ________
Pelosi was dumb. She should know whether they were allowed to do one person indoor vs one person outdoor service. She shouldnt have relied on her stylist and salon owner. Sounds like this salon and many others were having people come in anyways during this whole time they were supposed to be closed down.
Just have your hair dresser person come to your house. With all that said ... it was a hair appointment. I dont know how much more oxygen Fox News can possibly push into this story ... about a hair salon appointment. SD - youre smart enough to know where this goes. You call her a hypocrite. I say its funny trumpsters are outraged and demand discussion about at a salon visit 7 months into COVID but ignored Trump: - 2018 trump disbanded the Global Health Security and Biodefense unit — responsible for pandemic preparedness — was established in 2015 by Barack Obama - downplayed COVID early on. “So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!” - trump march 9 - Trump told States that they were on their own in securing PPE - Multiple States report the feds and FEMA were actively seizing their PPE shipments they ordered - Mid April, as covid began to bloom and States and schools started closing down .. trump tweeted Trump first tweeted "LIBERATE MINNESOTA!" Then, a minute later, the president tweeted "LIBERATE MICHIGAN!", Minutes after that, he added in another message, "LIBERATE VIRGINIA, and save your great 2nd Amendment. It is under siege!" - Trump appointed his son-in-law Kushner as head of the 'covid impact team", Kushner assembled old room mates and volunteers with no prior experience in medical contracting. Kushner's team often "fast tracked" bids form companies pushed by fox news allies Brian Kilmeade, Jeanine Pirro and Charlie Kirk - 52M to UAE for tests that were contaminated and unusable (Kushner's buddies with UAE) - 69M to some silicon valley engineer for 1k ventilators ... 0 ventilators were ever produced - As of June 11, agencies spent upward of $17.8 billion, much of which was not awarded through full and open competition. - Trump removes independent IG Glenn Fine, tapped to lead oversight over 2B in PPP loans and aide - Trump says he will be the over sight - Many banks approving PPP loans accepted applications only from existing customers as a default. That left out many minority-owned businesses, which often have weak relationships with banks as a result of years of systemic exclusion - because banks can collect bigger fees for bigger loans, that further incentivized bigger businesses to be prioritized over smaller ones - 29 year old texas man got 1.1M in PPP loans for a company that didnt exist and spent it on crypto currency and a baller lifestyle - Kanye West got more than 2M from PPP - 29 year old florida guy got almost 4M in PPP loans and spent it on lambourghinis and lavish lifestyle -------------------- but yes ... lets talk about a salon appointment and whether or not she was allowed to have her hair blown dry indoors or if it had to be outdoors ... |

I could give 2 shits about her getting her hair done. I'm getting mine cut Saturday and can't wait. Other people should be able to get theirs done too. But I do care that she fucked with that business owners livelihood. That's really messed up and pretty sickening. |

But I do care that she fucked with that business owners livelihood. That's really messed up and pretty sickening.
How so? Are you referring, in general terms, to CA restrictions on salons or something specific to this incident? |
Re: The hypocrisy of the ________
This site shits on Trump 24/7. Some of it well deserved. I think you all have that covered. Just because Trump has messed some shit up doesn't mean we can't or shouldn't call out others for their bullshit.
