Re: Clinton Portis on the JT Show
Sorry but give me a break. Do you think the great head coaches tell a player when they pull them during the game why they did it right then? Hell no. I can just see Parcells going over and sitting on the bench and explaining to Terry Glenn why he benched him. And what do you think would have happened to Glenn if he went to the media like Portis did?
No, your right. They wouldn't. but don't air your grievence on TV and not talk to the player or employee. How would you like to find out your not doing your job or being told how you should do your job through the TV or newspaper first? |
Re: Clinton Portis on the JT Show
CP is acting like a god damn baby. Shut the hell up on your stupid ass radio show, hold on to the damn ball and do what the coach says. CP...your fumble was a big reason why we lost!!!!!! Everytime something goes wrong he goes around calling people out. He does it with the O-line and now he's doing it to Zorn. The guy is a baller, no one can question that, but I'm getting tired of CP. Is it me or is CP one of the most high maintenence guys in the NFL?

Re: Clinton Portis on the JT Show
More than anything this outburst from Portis signals a bigger problem, a lack of direct communication between player and coach, and for that you have to place the blame with Zorn. He's the coach, he's the supposed leader, he needs to fix this.

You complain about fumbles, and you want Betts in the game??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! |
Re: Clinton Portis on the JT Show
I just don't get why he went to the media and said all of this. I mean he's all ready ragged on the O-Line before to the media.
Hopefully this is more of a distraction to us than the actual team. |
Re: Clinton Portis on the JT Show
Who would have guessed when we sat at 6-2 that come the 2nd week of December we'd be discussing Zorn's job security, missing the playoffs, coaches calling out players, players calling out coaches, people suggesting Colt unseat JC as starter....
Unreal. Nothing is EVER easy as a Redskins fan.
and thats for damn sure..it,s tough being a redskins fan that for sure so much adversity at the worst of times to have it ...down the stretch run... |

That is funny! |
Re: Clinton Portis on the JT Show
Bottom line...Zorn doesnt have to explain anything to Portis, its his team....yes Portis is a beast but he needs to keep his trap shut.

So if your boss decided to demote you for a little while, you wouldn't wanna know why he thought you weren't good enough? Because from your logic, you should willingly just sit there and take it. |

Yeah that makes no sense. There has to be open lines of communication in any business or sport, and when there isn't you get outbursts like this. |

No, but there is ways about doing things...I wouldnt broadcast it and try to make my boss look dumb.....thats a total lack of respect...if you dont respect the person, you still should respect the position |

I agree. Zorn needs to handle it better. But Zorn and Stump didn't want him on the field cause he didn't practice. Deal with it. You're the player and Zorn is the coach. It's called authority CP! Quit crying like a damn baby and be a man about it. CP cries about pre season, he cries about the line, he cries about practice and now he's crying about being benched. Boo hoo hoo. CP needs to start acting like a man and not a bitch. Crying on your radio show does no one any good. |
