It's the Kerrigan train baby woo woo

Re: Game day

We needed Kerrigan and he made the play of the game. |

Being negative isn't all bad. If bad stuff happens(like it usually does) you aren't really that put out, but if something good happens you are ecstatic. |
Re: Game day
Victory! HTTR! Closer than what I expected but we won!
|
Re: Game day
We keep playoff hopes alive, but our secondary blows chunks. Chicago played the Lions tough at Ford Field, so I am not going to rest easy when we play them at Soldier Field. Carolina worries me. Our playoff run is on thin ice. Barry needs to get creative and fast or his butt will be out on the ice soon. We can run the table, but we need our D to improve immensely to do it. I bet good ole Darrell Green could still cover better than everyone we have sans Josh. Geez we need a S and a CB, not to mention linemen. HTTR still the same. Hope is still alive!!!!!!!!!!

My game balls:
Cousins TW Thompson Djax Kelley Garcon Everett Foster (was a tackling machine) Kerrigan Murphy Hate the fact that Cravens suffered a torn bicep and might be done, huge blow!! |
Re: Game day
This win changes nothing for me..this is by far the worst Defense I have ever witnessed in the NFL and I am 57 years old ! to make playoffs only adds one more week of AGONY for all of us..what the heck is those DB'S doing??? they have totally regressed this year...I need a new TV and a drink...

All will be close games. There is no way we blow any of those teams out. |

Cravens is becoming a walking injury. Scotty's draft wasn't as hot as was advertised. I was happy with getting the LB from BC, but he got hurt from the get go. Scotty needs to focus on the power 3 conferences meaning the Big Ten, Big 12, and the SEC. The competition in those conferences is closest to NFL play as possible in NCAA football. |

Lol. They are a sorry sack, but the fact that we are looking at year two in the postseason, and outside of Norman the D has been relatively un addressed bodes well for the future. Anything can happen in the playoffs. Id love to get the Lions in the first round and a crack at Dallas after |

What About Josh Norman?! Great game, lock down anybody they lined in front of him, had a huge deflection on the 2pt conversion try! D did a good job in the 2nd half. Good team win! |

Breeland isn't the same guy anymore though...

Re: Game day
Carolina at home. At Bears. Gints at home. I like that!
Why? Our secondary sucks. All 3 games are just as losable as winnable. Shoot we could theoretically go 0-3 the rest of the way the way our secondary is playing. If this D of ours was consistently good, today's game should have been an easy victory. |
Re: Game day
Breeland isn't the same guy anymore though...
Breeland needs to be replaced. CB is a need in the draft I hope. As well as S. |
Re: Game day
Congrats! I know it was closer then you would have liked but it was a fun game to watch and as always the NFC est games are always like that.

The Doctson pick is going to haunt us this year if we do indeed fail to make it to the big dance. You can cover up a lousy secondary with a great pass rush at times. We don't have that. Doctson might end up being another Taylor Jacobs. |

See I know you're trying to downplay the accomplishment with "he did what he was supposed to do" but the fact that our defense can't do anything they're supposed to do with consistency means that when somebody actually does their job and makes a play we should value it more. That play isn't necessary if our d is worth half a damn, but it was absolutely necessary today. I felt like Kerrigan isn't as clutch as other players but that was as clutch as it gets today. |

Just calling it now, with this d we have about a 10% chance of making it to the big dance this year. All a team has to do is make our offense have an average game and they can easily beat us. We don't have a great anything on D. And even mentioning Doctson's name with Taylor Jacobs is an insult. Jacobs would miss games for the most minor of injuries, Doctson has an achilles injury (achilles, it's the tendon in your calf) which is one of the hardest injuries to play football with considering you have to plant, push off and run on your legs. And he has strained achilles injuries in both legs no less! And somehow you think that having leg injuries that prevent you from running at full speed is on par with Taylor "out-sprained pinkie" Jacobs? GTFO with that nonsense. On top of that we have 3 wide receivers and an elite tight end to catch passes from our best-qb-in-25-years and you think that's the problem? |
Re: Game day
Wow....WTF just happened....thats usually how we lose games, not win them.
Thank you Ryan Kerrigan! |

This entire post is nonsense. Next you're gonna tell me Russia is innocent and the entire intelligence community is making shit up because they don't like Trump. |
Re: Game day
Ugly game, but a Pretty Win.
Great play at the end...that ball seemed like it laid on the ground a full 5 secs before Murphy jumped in to scoop it up. Great play by Kerrigan and some serious hustle by Murphy to cash in the big play. |

The comparison with Taylor Jacobs is a 50/50 thing as I stated in the original post. Yeah I know Jacobs was a wuss. Not saying josh is, but that Achilles thing might cost him a career in the NFL. He might end up being a wasted #1 pick. Scott should have stuck with needs and not try for a big steal. Thus far, it hasn't worked out. Hope I am wrong, but it would fit in with the Skins bad luck with drafts of late. |

All I'm saying is you can't judge a draft class off their first year. Yeah it's a bad start, but start talking about a bust if he still can't play in 2 years. Achilles are hard to come back from, but not impossible. Drafting for needs doesn't do shit for anyone, because when your time comes around you are limiting your choices for need. Draft is a crapshoot anyways, you might as well pick the player you think is best, whether it's a need or not. Remember the 2013 draft? Picking Jordan Reed? Remember everyone criticizing the pick because we had Fred Davis and he was considered a good player at the time? Look how that turned out. |
Re: Game day
That was a poor read and dumb throw on the pick six by Cousins. If not for that play we win by a little more than a TD.
My game ball goes to Desean Jackson! 3 receptions for over 120 yards and a TD for 80 yards! |
Re: Game day
Josh Norman and Ryan Kerrigan are my co MVPs on defense for this game! HTTR4ever!

Not playing anything down here I think you guys are the better team right now.Without JPP we will have no pass rush or defender to knock balls down at the line of scrimmage. On Offense it depends on what Eli and Beckum show up and we have no O line ...even when healthy. |
