I believe the D went with a contain and pressure rather than a full on Blitz package. I need to rewatch the game but I fear another change of underwear would be necessary.

Non-existent. Dallas did a good job at picking things up and Bledsoe did a good job at getting rid of the ball.

We can't bring heat with the front four so we have to be creative. It would be much easier if we could bring pressure with the front four but that's the hand we've been dealt.

Our QB is slower than molasses on a Cold day. Contain and pressure? Doubt it. You threw many a blitz at him but ya didn't get him. Not a good sign.

Why didn't Portis get yards? I think the 20lbs he put on will hurt him. he was a quick through the hole back with good vision that made the first guy whiff. Why turn him into Riggins?

our defense is great, not perfect. sorta like your vaunted secondary couldn't stop our "no.2 Smurf" in back to back plays. glad to hear it btw, but i don't think God intended those uniforms.

Portis still needs to beef up for the kind of running he has to do with our division. He hits a hole and gets a lot of attention, as in the Dallarse game.

Having Betts come in for a few downs help too, the additional meat will allow Portis to be more durable throughout the season.

probably the same reason Jones didn't get his 1000 yds in 10 games. good fast linebackers. except in your case it took four of them instead of three.

as much as he isn't a Riggins, running at a 3-4 is supposed to more effective than running side to side.

our mistake is putting old man Glenn on your fastest receiver and putting the fastest guy Newman in the slot. I think that when we stopped blitzing Brunell we just stopped hitting you guys in the mouth. A four man line with no lb or safety coming in to blitz on a day as hot as that is never getting to the QB.

Betts was a non factor after he got separated from the ball.

Matty, Thanks for the Closet skins fan line over the Star. But it is stuck between a graet helmet and the % superbowls that we have won so it looks out of place.

Portis will be fine in the long run and I still expect him to have a big year with 1500 yds or so.

Dallas did a good job at taking away the run and we got away from the running game when we got down.

Williams has NEVER been any good in coverage, and had Glenn not gone for the int on the last pass maybe Moss doesn't walk in untouched. Besides in cover 2 the safety is supposed Help overtop - between the LOS and the receiver. Glenn gambled and we lost.
