Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
Oh...but was I meant to add in my last post concerning Bradshaw...he said that he wasn't the one who felt the game had passed Joe Gibbs by and that Gibbs didn't have anything left. That is a bold face lie, concerning the fact that I remember Bradshaw saying the exact words that "this is a young man's sport and the game has passed Joe Gibbs by."
LOL.....I think Bradshaw lost more than his hair!
Bradshaw is an ape have you seen his broadcasts. He is like an ADHD, hillbilly who is killing himself drinking wood alcohol moonshine. He is not worth mentioning in the same breath as Gibbs. He may have been a helluva QB but he is an embarassment to the broadcasting industry. |
Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
Has anyone posted proof that Ramsey ASKED for a trade?
Naughty Cow-Whore fan. He must be pissing himself over the fuss he caused.
Playing into the hands of the Cowturd fans! Redskins fans are supposed to be smarter than that! :biggthump |
Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
Ramsey may still be the man, but he needs to cut out the mistakes or he may never start for the skins again. I would also be surprised to see Brown back on kickoffs at first on Monday.
The first warning was verbal. The second warning is a benching. The third warning... may not be a warning.
Gibbs just won't tolerate the same stupid mistakes............. |

What's wrong with moonshine? LOL We might have to use it to gas our vehicles with! |
lol Ya'll got played by this poster into freaking out
I was watching NFL Countdown and heard Mort say that Ramsey wanted to be traded. Mort is one of the more reliable media guys. This whole situation makes me mad :cussing: |
Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
Chad Pennington had six fumbles...guess Herm Edwards should bench for the rest of the season and bring out the back-up.
But at least Chad Pennington had the excuse of coming off a shoulder/rotar cuff injury. Look at it this way, would you rather have Qunicy Carter or Brunell.......I'll take Brunell. |
Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
anyway you look at it, Gibbs went against his word.
all the wasted practice reps, not to mention team trust. first three drives of the season was not 'support', it was a montrous waste of time and energy. nevermind what its done to Ramsey, imagine how the team feels. especially the veterans who've been here and suffered all this franchise's drama along with Ramsey. Brunell us once, shame on Brunell, Brunell us twice.... |
Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
Well, Well, Well, lets see who predicted this, a Unhappy QB in Wahsington, I hate to brag but I will, I said that Ramsey days were #, by the Quarters he plays, and before the trading deadline he would be the 3rd QB on the Roster, its going to be Brunell and the young Dumb QB, you know the one out of Auburn......let Ramsey go, just let him go....and lets move on:FIREdevil

Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
this is a trick meant for Parcells. just has to be.

Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
Many years from now we'll look back on that year when Joe Gibbs declared a young strong-armed QB his starter and proclaimed he would be the guy for years to come. Even though there's a proven veteran backing him up and the team had just drafted a QB in that spring's draft. (or was it the year before?)
And someone will ask whatever happened to those QBs. And someone else will respond "Well that young QB with the bright future, Jay Schroeder, Gibbs didn't like what he saw so he made the unpopular decision and pulled the plug on him in what he felt was the team's best interest. He ended up with the Raiders and didn't do much. The veteran, Doug Williams, got us a ring that season. And the rookie, Mark Rypien, won one for us four years later"
I hate to do it to you TAFKAS, but ..... Doug Williams >>>>> Mark Brunell |
Re: Ramsey wants to be traded

did everyone forget ALL OF LAST SEASON?? everyone was BEGGING for Ramsey, and now because of a couple pre-season games, we want the disaster of last season? if that's the case then we are WORSE than Philly fans. i have never witnessed such a fan 180 as i have now with people booing Ramsey on the first game. it's shameful.
I was there yesterday and I agree 100% with your criticism of the fans. Ramsey was given about a 2 play grace period before the boos started coming down. It's rediculous. How about letting our starting QB get comfortable at home. Later the crowd even got on Brunell after yelling for him to vome in. Our offense probably prefers to play on the road at this point. I know our QB's are not very good, but it doesn't help them play better when we booh them constantly. Ramsey was booed in the first series for crying out loud...just rediculous.
I was going to ask that question Celts32....I wonder how many people here that are backing Ramsey now would admit to booing him at the game.....fans are fickle, but more than likely frustrated over 14 years of losing seasons, we started out with lots of optimism--Jansen back, new center, Rogers looks like the real deal, Lavar getting healthy, Gibbs seems to be opening up the offense, D is looking good ....and now this :( |
Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
Ramsey should chill a bit before demanding a trade right now. Settle down maybe he'll end up starting again. He has been in this offense for 1 year and he looks shaky at best. If he goes somewhere else he's gonna ride the pine also. I know he's full of pride but this is likely an agents demand not his own.
Good point, isn't his contract up after this year????????? He shouldn't have overreacted, but he knows he won't get any kind of deal holding a clip board on the sidelines....even if he doesn't get traded now, next year he is gone for sure........ |

Re: Ramsey wants to be traded
If Ramsey isn't really hurt, I'm quite upset about Brunell being named the starter.
