I think if we finish with a top 5 pick we're going to make a serious attempt to get that no. 1 pick. Anything below that and no
I'd be down with that plan even though the price of moving from, say, the five spot to the one spot would be huge. |

Didn't really feel like this was thread worthy but I wanted to share it anyways:

That's pretty cool to know that he's been in space and one of the two things he was allowed to bring with him was a Redskins t-shirt. |
You know we have a crappy team when there are many more pages of talk on the Penn St scandal than there are of Redskins football. I realize that the Penn St scene is disturbing and big news, but still...
Dude, I'm just sooo tired of hearing about it and I never went there. It's a tragedy. I understand that. But when all you hear on the radio for 3 days from sun up till sun down from every show on talk radio is Penn State and their issues or Cain and his scandal..... I've shut off my radio or switched to the music channels for the last 3 days. Break the news and lets move on. It's amazing how the media has had to disect every aspect of these stories. |
Well from that list, Rams, Vikes and Panthers will not take a 1st round QB (Rams exception is if they get the number 1 over all and trade Bradford)
so they are mainly in the gimme picks for my pick category, if any team wants to move ahead of us to get a specific qb. as for the game Sunday, the only thing that interests me is if Beck makes it past this week. Really think he needs an impressive outing in order to make any impact at all. Don't expect that he will :(
I would normally totally agree with you but do we really know that the Rams are satisfied with Bradford? I'm not in their town and have not been paying too much attention to them but I thought I heard or read somewhere that the Rams might be in the running for QB as well which led me to believe they are possibly not satisfied with the performance as of yet. Miami, Colts, and Cards might still be in the running for a QB though. |

Since the end of last season, they desperately needed wideouts and their only solution was to bring Sims-Walker. They probably could use a good TE too. I think on defense they were devastated by injuries, although I think they really didn't have a good secondary. If you watch that game against the Eagles earlier this year, Bradford was making plays but his WRs were not. I think the Rams would be a bit stupid for getting rid of Bradford and not take advantage of getting a ton of picks so they can surround Bradford with talent. |

Yup, solid line, very good running game and defense, and good receiving group. |

I think it will depend more on who gets the no. 1. If it's the colts they may turn down all offers. If its the Rams, I think we have a chance to make a deal regardless of our 1st rounder, as it will likely involve multiple future picks. |

It's not that they haven't drafted receivers; it's just that none of the WRs drafted or picked up from the bargain bin are doing anything. Brandon Lloyd is probably the best WR on their squad, and he was picked up near the trading deadline and knows McDaniel's system. |

I am sure that was the case with FA receivers, but the point is still that Bradford had crap for receivers (and even the best WR from the group got hurt) and had a lot of injuries that led them to the awful start of the season. I don't think Bradford is a bad QB and if they were to land the top spot, it would be better for them to get the WR (if it is feasible to do so) or trade down to get more picks. I think the Rams will be in much better shape once they get healthy and if they are able to get a true #1 WR (a Megatron-like WR would be great for them). |

this is our best chance to win, so here's hoping.

Skins 3,
Dolphins 2, After an NFL record 73 yard field goal that lands directly in Jennifer Lopez's Nacho's in the first row, spilling cheese sauce all over her white pants, QB John Beck is benched after taking a safety from checking down what seemed to be his 9th open receiver in 1 play. Skins win and Horacio Cane is furious. HAIL!!! Einhorn is Finkle, Finkle is Einhorn. Einhorn is a MAN!!! |
