We pick @ 124, 157, 186, 228, 242, and 249

Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
I think it's pretty clear at this point, this is a depth & development draft. I would suggest that none of the guys chosen so far are being expected to start this year. If they do, great! If not, that's the plan. Maybe one of the receivers pushes for the 2/3 slot and Davis is the second TE. Now we pick a developmental DL guy and 3rd string QB in 4 & 5. In the 6th, 7th we get more depth along both lines.

Day 2 draft coverage:
Ok, does anyone else have a problem with the way ESPN and NFLN cover day 2? All they do basically is analyze day 1 and inteview GMs, coaches, and players. Why does day 2 take a back seat to day 1? I'd love to see them cover day 2 more like they cover day 1. Let's hear some analysis of each pick and see some highlights. |

Thomas and Kelly might not start but I expect they will both play significant roles in multiple WR sets. |
Are you serious? You don't disagree that Moss is at best an average wide receiver? Did you watch any games last year after he got back to being healthy? Bears, Giants, Vikings, Cowboys? I'm glad fans don't evaluate talent for this team at any level other than internet posts.
I guess I should clarify my post. Moss is below average for a #1, above average as an overall WR in the NFL. A four game stretch doesn't make a season. If he's going to be injured or "slowed by injury" for 12 games how does that help us. Moss was 18th in YDs, 20th in receptions, and only had 3 TDs. Very pedestrian for a #1 WR. I do agree with you on one point...I am glad fans (looking through Burgundy and Gold colored glasses) don't evaluate talent for us. |

NFLN was pretty good at covering the guys taken in Round 3, though I'm not currently watching right now. |

Thanks for the update, I will request another one if we trade out again ;) |

We already know what happened in Day 1, we know the players who we're taking and what they bring to the table. In Day 2 they should analyze the players more because the fans don't know as much about these players as they do the ones selected in Day 1. |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
we should of asked the titans for more do you see how many picks they have in the 4th

GIVE ME SOME INFO ON RINEHART!!! No, they interview Jack Del Rio about yesterday's pick. I don't care, focus on today! |
Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Day 2 analyze the players that are being picked now or just talk about the SKINS! HAIL TO THE SKINS

Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread
Vinny Cerrato is really working this draft. All of you guys who were saying WTF about the picks in the 2 round will be eating your words. I believe that our needs will be met by the conclusion of this draft. I'm really going to give Cerrato all of the credit in the world of during the necessary research on this draft. I believe he is bringing all of what he learned in the San Fran days. The analysts always say that Cerrato is a mastermind of evaluating talent in the draft. Let's get the pass rusher so everyone will be happy including me!!!

It's almost not even worth watching. I'm just watching the draft tracker now on ESPN. |

I would like to see some defensive players taken soon.... but lets not give our cousin Vinny "all the credit in the world" until we see how many of these guys make the team, contribute, and most importantly we win more games... |
