The division is still up for grabs if you ask me. If we sweep Dallas and the Eagles, then you never know. This thing is a long way from over.
Normally I wouldn't want dallas or philly to win the division but this year the winner of the division simply loses draft position for otherwise awful teams.

Losing is fine folks, we need a QB so bad.

Re: Giants v. WFT Gameday Thread
Ran the ball 9 fucking times the whole game, what kind of bullshit is this? At this point bring back Bryce Love to the roster and let him play.

I'm not sure Dwayne isn't the backup next week. Why would he get propelled to starter?

I thought we got too pass happy on our second to last possession. We could've ran the ball but continued to toss it. |
Re: Giants v. WFT Gameday Thread
5 turnovers is the story. Defense played well enough. A Smith played great, until he didn't. Think maybe he tried to be too much of a hero those last two possessions.

Might as well see if dude can be a solid backup. God knows Haskins is donezo and Smith needs to retire. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Build the Oline and draft a QB. The Oline is a mess

We will have a ton of $$ too. Draft Z Wilson Sign OL / WR |

Teams trash, offensive coaching is hot garbage.

Re: Giants v. WFT Gameday Thread
Fuck Trashkins. Don't want to see him ever again. He's done here and his career is most likely over. I'd go w/ Alex. He will get a full week w/ the first unit. Can't expect him to come in and save the game.

3 picks later... shame |
Re: Giants v. WFT Gameday Thread
It would be nice for once to have a fucking QB that can win us games...

Re: Giants v. WFT Gameday Thread
I've only seen the picks from the highlight. The 1st is just unfortunate with McKissic falling down at the crucial moment. The 2nd was a poor throw but under pressure. But its the 3rd I can't excuse from the highlight reel at least. I can barely see who he was attempting to throw it to (McLaurin) and it looks like Ryan was 10 yards clear of anyone else when he caught it. Is it the highlight angle or was it really a terrible throw?

He forced the throw, and should've tossed it to Sims. There was too much time remaining, and I believe we had a timeout left, to make such an errant toss. |
Re: Giants v. WFT Gameday Thread
The last two INTs were just bad decisions, plain and simple. He was trying to do to much in those moments. My guess is the game speed caught up to him after having been out for so long, especially as the Giants began to bring more pressure.
With the slow start (again), and the early turnovers & penalties, they were forced to come back (again). The remedy is to start faster and make fewer mistakes, then you're not in a position to have to force things. |

Re: Giants v. WFT Gameday Thread
I cannot remember a worse Redskins team than this one. There were two that I consider tied, the 1960 and 1961 teams who only won one game each year.
I was really excited when Rivera was hired. i didn't expect miracles the first year but I didn't expect this. He always looks like he is waiting for next year. The coaching is subpar. I can predict about 90 % of the offense formations. If I can do that, the professionals can do better. what happened to the awesome defense? Yes, statistically they appear to be a top 5 defense but functional they are more middle of the road. The offense is even worse as there is probably only about 2 or 3 good players. IMO No matter what, I will still be a fan. I have been a fans since 1945 when Turk Edwards gave me an autographed football. I will not change. |

I do look for the offense to improve moving forward with A Smith. It might not be an exciting offense, but I predict it will be efficient and keep the D off the field more. |

True, no D can be #1 if they are on the field all the time. The Ravens got to a SB with an average O (Dilfer) but at least they were able sustain drives and give the D a breather. If we were able to come out of the gate and score early and chew up some clock, we'd probably have 3 more wins, especially the Giants games. But we need the missing pieces to be able to do that, especially at QB. |

Cooley was ripping Turner pretty hard in his offensive film breakdown. Too many tendencies and lack of adjustments. He said the Giants kept blitzing with the exact same blitz over and over with no adjustments. It's an interesting listen if you have time and he gives examples. |

Re: Giants v. WFT Gameday Thread
Eh I watched the tape, the Giants have a good defense To be honest and also it's hard when you are so limited at WR/TE. Sims broke loose for a couple long ones but overall we just lack the talent. Cooley sometimes thinks he is some offensive wiz

I think Turner sucks. No doubt their is a huge lack of talent but that is when you need to make those lemons into lemonade- or at least try. Imo he just exposes our lack of talent. Super predictable. It is like scripted shit you run in pre season when you care more about evaluations than winning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I want to give him a chance with a legit roster on that side of the ball.. We were out there with 2 backup QBs and now we have a 37 YO coming off 2 years of not playing. It's easy to point the blame at Turner but lets also blame Rivera for not getting any weapons this off season. (In Free agency) |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I feel like some games Turner's playcalling was really good and surprising...while other games the exact opposite. But again, when you're limited as this team is just at the QB position...I think it's hard to judge fairly. We can only hope that after every game, ol' Norv is in his ear telling him what he could've done better and help him improve. |
Re: Giants v. WFT Gameday Thread
It's the NFL. Not easy to scheme guys wide open every play. You need guys to win against their man and/or find the right spots in the zone. We have McLaurin and a bunch of JAGS. Need another legit WR and TE. Not to mention a QB. Giving Turner at least thru next season before making any judgments.

Re: Giants v. WFT Gameday Thread
Its also the NFL, where you make in game adjustments and not get beat by the same blitz 6 times.
Turner is mediocre and its the same old same old on offense. Reminds me of the gruden regime schemes. |
