https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xl0fLs414R4
Ok now that is fucked up. I like it on stuff - not stand alone. Yeah that guy definitely has a screw loose. I know some dude that loves mayo that much. I avoid the fuck outta that guy. |
Re: Food Vices
^ Maybe because it smells like ass crack?
I can deal with it, just not in excessive amounts. As a kid I played a prank on a friend, told him to close his eyes and gave him a spoonful of mayo, told him it was whipped cream, he ran outside and puked lol
Oh you were nice. Bout 11 years old we gave our friend some chew and told him to swallow it. Still have never seen anyone throw up like that. We definitely did the blind food taste test though and used some awful shit. |
Love that place. Next time ur in Asbury lemme know! Still waiting for my first WP meet up. I think it would be the coolest thing to meet u all in person.
Can’t believe they fuckin put mayo on a cheesesteak when you didn’t ask?!? In my 50 years - a good majority of it spent in NJ and 44 of it was before I started eating vegan - never ever. That is crazy but hysterical that it was in NJ.
I do find it weird that no one has ever actually met someone from here before. I talk to most of you more than I talk to my actual friends I've met. I'll be on the east coast next year. I'd love for some of us to meet up and catch a game. Not actually go to the game. Just go to Hooters or something. Watch us lose as a team. We will make some bets, loser has to eat a spoon fool of mayonnaise. |

The whole boardwalk was very cool, I literally found a place in nj I like. As far as the mayo I think there is a select few shirt order cooks that believe everything should have mayo and they just slap it on regardless if you ask or not. |

They fucking did it to me this past weekend at the Wunderbar in Asbury. The kids and some parents went there between hockey games at the Jersey Shore Ice Arena. Got my cheesesteak had mayo, sent it back, they were cool about it.
LOL, should have gone up to the Windmill in Long Branch for a great Hot dog and fries! |
I put mayo on cheesesteaks, burgers, half ketchup half mayo for fries, sandwiches ...
that shit is delicious
+1 I'm picky though - can't be excessive with it. Every time I go to Subway they assume I want my sub drowning in it and I gotta tell them to ease up with it. I've been branching out lately - I like these burger places that use like a garlic aioli or chipotle mayo vs. a regular mayo. But on my subs? Mayo is a must for lube because I don't like cheese on my sandwiches or burgers. Most places put just enough on it but some go overboard. |

She trained exclusively for this. Started small, just a spoonful of mayo with every meal. In 6 months she was eating a jar for every meal. In a year she was eating 5 jars in 3 minutes. #dedication #perseverance |

Made a leeks, potatoe and bacon creamy soup in the insta pot yesterday and it came out real nice. First time using an insta pot. Very cool.

Re: Food Vices
Had like 12 kids at my place, had at least double that in the past, the weather didn't help either, but now I'm stuck with 2 monster bags of candy. I'm already OD'ing on sugar, need to get this shit out of my house asap. I'm not even a big fan of sweets but once I get started it's hard to stop.

Donate it to the military, they have 55 gallon drums when i walk into work that folks donate the candy to them in, they seal it and send it overseas. I always laugh when i look in the barrels it always shit like candy corn. I think some poor service man is siting in a foxhole getting shot at and all we can send the poor dude is smashed candy corn. |
Re: Food Vices
Good idea on donating, just did some searches in my area and can't find anything yet.

Actually a little cold in San Diego right now. Having biscuits, chili, and kabasa tonight. C'mon 5 o'clock.

Re: Food Vices
Traded some peanut m&ms packs for a whole Kit Kat. Win. Kit Kat is underrated in the candy hierarchy.

Interesting. Guess every neighborhood is different. Definitely hearing more about way too much leftover candy though. |
Re: Food Vices
Favorite style pizza/crust?
I'm pretty basic, I like a standard medium crust. If I had to pick thick or thin, I'd pick thin. |

If I had to pick thick or thin, I'd pick thin.
I'm enjoying thin more as i get older - a nice thin NY style with crispy pepperoni's would be perfect. But top 2 pizza for me is a Detroit style pepperoni - look up the Detroiter from Buddy's and that is ideal. I don't like the traditional Detroit style with the sauce on top of the pizza. |
Re: Food Vices
I know some manage to do it, but it's hard to mess up pizza. NY style, Chicago style, thick crust, thin crust, neapolitan, sicilian, bring it all on.

The sausage also better be sliced and not crumbled |
Re: Food Vices
Fresh basil on a pizza, hell yeah.
I wasn't a fan of pineapple until I had a jerk style chicken pizza with pineapple. The hot/sweet combo works on that. |

I put Old Bay in everything - eggs, avocado toast, steak rub. Reminds me of my MD roots.

It's more like a casserole than a pizza. And you can't even taste the pepperoni's under that thick layer of sauce and cheese. |

Macaroni noodles, chili, and shredded cheese, is an excellent meal in a pinch. Also added some bacon bits.

Re: Food Vices
Favorite non-water or alcoholic beverages?
I pretty much drink water, Diet Dr. Pepper, and iced tea. I like Diet Cream Soda too. But my grocery store usually doesn't carry it. |
Re: Food Vices
Water the majority of the time for me too, or unsweetened tea, black coffee. Seltzer or mineral water is usually in my fridge too.

Re: Food Vices
SDSF2001, have you tried Hodads in OB?
If you haven't, I recommend going to watch the WFT game at Winstons in OB, then walk over to hodads at halftime for a burger. There is also a pizza place next door. https://hodadies.com/ http://winstonsob.com/ (Skins Bar) |
