Re: Week 7: Redskins vs. Bears Gameday thread

Our offense had great field position early when our defense shut the Bears down. Our offense gives the Bears 7 points on a tip BS pass by McNabb. How come when the defense is balling hard the offense plays like crap. When will we play a complete game? This reminds me of the Rams game all over again.
stop adding to the negativity, first i read itll be easy, then 12 sec later i read its over....come on now have some belief in your team...its depressing me....i say we come back in the second half win by 10.
Only if the Skins offense gets it together. Otherwise our defense can't keep the Skins in the game for another 2 quarters. Offensive playcalling is some shit too. Run Pass Pass. Run, bootleg, Shotgun. Wow.

I say we still pull it out by 3

Re: Week 7: Redskins vs. Bears Gameday thread

It's not just that we aren't executing, the Bears defense is all over us right now. Our offensive line hasn't been protecting, and KS isn't trying to get the ball out quicker.

How is it that as soon as the Bears start calling plays to get the ball out faster, they go 70 yards down the field for a touchdown? Haslett better make some halftime adjustments because we had no answer once they started doing 3 step drops and getting rid of the ball quickly.

Offense better make some adjustments too, the Bears shut us down completely in the second quarter. This could get worse after halftime if we don't recognize what they are doing and adjust to it.

Martz owned Dallas once he started calling the 3-step drops.
It also helps to have a QB who can consistently make those short timing patterns.

Where's everyone who said we would blow them out?

You forgot to anticipate Kyle's garbage offense with an average starting position of the 50.

I hope to god we add some talent on the offense this off season

Maybe if they score again after getting the ball this half, some sort of desperation will kick in.. Because for some reason we only start playing good when we play from behind.:Smoker:

It's not just that. The Bears are getting mad pressure, because they are doing what we were doing to them early on. But the Bears offense adjusted to it, waltzed down the field and got that touchdown, while we haven't adjusted to it yet. If we don't adjust to it we'll be seeing more 3 and outs in the second half.

Our defense is back, no pressure and playing 10 yards off the reciever

McNabb makes it difficult to adjust to the short drops.

I told y'all Cutler makes BEASTLY throws, and Aikman's commentary expounded on his intelligent decision to place it on the BACK SHOULDER.

hard not be negative when the team plays like this. The secondary is getting shredded, Haynesworth is doing his part in this game.

This team plays is still playing down to the level of its competition. If we loose this game what do we make of this team?

That's a cop out. Mike Martz has made an excellent adjustment once again and Haslett has to catch up fast.
