The Jets realize they are 3 to 4+ years away from really competing, so why pay those big contracts. Actually think its pretty smart on their part.

I agreed -- they're stockpiling a bunch of high value picks. 3 years from now, that is going to be a very different team if (and it's a big if) they don't squander them. Heck, they'll have so many high picks that if they decide to trade back a few spots to acquire more picks, they could practically draft themselves a whole new team. Their main problem, like ours used to be, is the owner. So glad those days are behind us.

My question to the Jets is this, do we really trust the regime who picked Justin Fields to pick the next QB in the draft?

Sauce and g Wilson were great picks…but picking the QB in NY is a whole different ball game
