Not sure how I feel about the last two picks. Seem like long shots.
I like the Center. Versatile can move to guard. He will contribute |
Golden did his thing against the Appalachian States of the world. I seriously doubt if that translates to making those plays against the athletes he will confront in the NFL. From my perspective, both of the "play makers" we drafted are used to playing against boys not men. I am having serious doubts about this draft. Yeah, I know Gary Clarke went to a small school. But the difference in the level of play in the "power conferences" versus the "also rans" is much greater nowadays.
I seriously think you're dead wrong about Golden and this draft. Somehow, you are always able to find the charcoal gray lining in a fluffy white cloud. How about giving the rest of us a few days to like our team? |

Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
With TWs departure, and the picks this draft it is clear this is now RRs team. I think it is starting out on solid footing.
Haven't we tried this "end zone threat" approach quite often in the past few years? Does not seem to have panned out very well.
You mean the Bruce Allen, Jay Gruden years? New regime. Time to give them a chance, before pissing all over their efforts. |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Wow there goes Cooley’s guy he raved about...Charlie Wormer. And guess who got him...Kyle shanny, the guy who knows TE

Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Ismael was a great pick. We needed to add a guy with C/G versatility.
He could win the LG spot possibly. Or start at C and move Chase to LG. If not, he'll be a great swing position backup. Do not like the other 5th round choice. He most likely would have been available in the 7th. Not gonna love every pick tho. He's versatile at least and is a great special teams player. Maybe he was mainly drafted for his ST prowess. |

Everybody knows there's a clear correlation between small schools and shitty NFL players, name me a single player ever in history that ever came from a small school that ever did anything of note ever, even one time, in all 100 years of the NFL! Thank you!!!!! |

Shannon Sharpe And I’m sure many others
13 years and you still haven't learned when I'm being obnoxious? Weak You forgot the obvious one, the GOAT (who played for SF) came from a small school named Mississippi Valley State. |
