The NFL doesn't allow an alternate helmet other than a throwback that is limited to being worn twice in a season.

Probably a good thing since Nike and the Seahawks got together...they'd have 4 helmets minimum and be like the Oregon Ducks.

In the NFL, each team's helmet is their ultimate marketing tool. In college, not so much. Team branding is taken more seriously on the professional level.

And it should be, y would anyone want a different helmet all.the time? Oregon is cool looking but it's college, nobody really looks at them and says " they are a traditional power " teams like Ou and Alabama for example never change logos.

the jags has too much going on; it just makes me think of the vikings from the past several years. i have a feeling the jags will be making another change in a season or 2.

vikings look great, i haven't seen a closeup of their helmet, but it looks like a matte finish?
