russia has a couple of cuties
I'm finally watching women's curling, USA v RUS, and I completely agree about team Russia. That's got to help the sport. But I think my favorite part is that these announcers seem amazed by how popular curling is at these games but they don't seem to realize that a lot of the said popularity comes from the fact that the sport is so ridiculous. It's the new hipster bowling or nerd glasses. |
Re: Winter Olympics Who's Watching
Canada has a very nice looking lady as well, Denmark has quite a few cuties.
hahahaha @ hipster bowling, PERFECT description |
Honestly, it's hard for me to understand any sport with "judges." Just doesn't compute for me. Give me something I can measure (not you, Johnny Weir). I want definitive winning and losing, not "oh, that pirrouette wasn't sassy enough, you get a 2.5."
Just about all winter sports are judged. |

Re: Winter Olympics Who's Watching
This will be weird rooting against Ovie
some chick called into the fan the other day saying she was rooting for Russia because of Ovie.. umm... |
Re: Winter Olympics Who's Watching
Yeah, have to root against him for a day. But, it will be great to see him beat Crosby when they face each other.
I want Canada to lose no matter who they're playing...their fans/residents are way too pompous and acting like they're entitled to the Gold just for showing up. Even after we beat them soundly, they're all saying "that game didn't matter, we're winning the Gold anyways". Canada is my new Ohio State/Boston Red Sox/Dallas Cowboys/New England Patriots/Kobe Bryant fan. |
