Our situation is probably one of the best for a new comer coach and GM to be in. You got a ton of picks in the upcoming draft with the #2 spot and two really really good QBs to pick from. You got a ton of salary cap. You got a new ownership with no insane amounts of baggage.

It's like a brand new franchise.

Nothing is a sure thing. Nothing. They could both be terrible HC’s. But I bet you Peters is not happy about both of them staying, and I am going to trust he knows whether they have what it takes or not. Nice to try and put a positive spin on things but not landing one of them stinks.
It isn’t the end of the world, but boxes were being checked off real nice …. New Owner with success with sports teams [emoji736], new GM on everyones radar [emoji736], new hot young OC for HC [emoji777], and now I am afraid they are going to settle. Doesn’t mean you can’t take a run at the young guns again next year if things don’t work out with whoever we wind up with.

I'm not sure it would be considered "settling" just because we didn't land a good OC who didn't want to be a HC.

We're still in a good position. They weren't the best candidates after all, if they didn't want to be here.

I don't know if I'd say Harris has had success but he certainly has had competitive teams that weren't a joke.
