So fucking lame, the Mets and Braves battle it out for months. Both win over 100 games. Then the Phillies make it the furthest.

All of these extra wild card teams is lame. Baseball was nice that it wasn't like hockey/basketball, where you simply have to not suck to make the playoffs.

Should still be 4 teams in each league, and both series are 7 games. 3 and 5 games is too small for baseball.

But it will never go back. If anything, more teams will get added.

. I'd even through NFL in there. No difference between 14 teams and 16 IMO. The early playoff games for the most part are chock full of mediocrity. I will say for hockey even a 1-4 match up usually goes 6 games but I always thought baseball had the best playoffs in the past.

No worries. Braves are my favorite team. But from living in SD I always pulled the Padres when they weren't playing the Braves.

Funnily enough, the last time and only the 2nd time they made it to the WS, they knocked the Braves out on the road there. But that was before I moved down there. So I didn't hold it against them because I wasn't around to hear about it.

Shockingly, I'm rooting for the Phillies over the Astros. It would be funny to have 2 straight NL East fans beat them in the World Series. And the Nationals beat them too. The Astros must hate the NL East.

It's the only redeeming part of this storyline lol. Would be hilarious if the Astros can't be the NL East.
