Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
Keiland looked good last nite .. what's not to like ? he's a rookie who can makes some plays ?? I always like Slaton, but seriously come on people .. Big Al will be here for the rest of the year, get his ass ready for the Bears and let's get to 4-3.

In this case I whole heartedly agree that 4-3 is far better than 3-4!!! |

No one is going to mistake Keiland for someone who is actually a good and agile receiver out of the backfield like Chester Taylor. Hell, Betts was a better receiver than he is. |
Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
Yeah, a third down back with a major fumbling problem. Slaton would still be the starter if he knew how to carry a football. Thanks but no thanks, we'll get by with ATV and Williams and we'll be even better when Portis gets back.
He did fumble a lot last year but some of this could be attributable to the neck injury he had which affected the way he could grip the ball. I think he only lost a couple of fumbles his rookie year. He's a high risk-high reward player similar to Brandon Banks. Slaton can take it to the house anytime he gets his hands on the ball. I think a change of scenery could benefit him too. Guess I am biased though and like this guy since my Terps dropped the ball when they withdrew his scholarship before he went to WVU... |
Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth
I would love to offer Albert Haynesworth to the raiders for RB Darren McFadden.
They are having a fire sale,so I wonder what his value is to them? The guy has a lot of talent. Can you imagine having McFadden and ATV as our future 1-2 punch? Daaaaayum! McFadden is also a very good receiver out of the backfield. |

One things for sure. He's a great receiver out of the backfield. Quite the poor mans Brian Westbrook. |

Oakland wouldn't dream of trading away a top 2 CB. |

Plus they're still trying to figure oout the enigma that is the last guy we sent them. Thats right I just made a Rock Cartwright reference. |

Bailey went for Portis+2nd rounder, but Nnadmi would go for more in this market (Bailey clearly wanted out of DC). |

Brian Westbrook could take screens to the house and back again. Keiland is not that capable. |

poor man's [something or someone], (the or a) A less famous, less expensive, smaller or less satisfactory version of something or someone. The term does not necessarily imply inferiority, though it often does. 1924: "Another nickname for the town [St. Petersburg, Fla.] is the Poor Man's Palm Beach." The guy is a beast and gets better with the more balls he carries. Oakland is not using him properly, the times they have he has run people over. |
