6...not 8. |
i sure hope theyre not out after this game, but i cant get onto gibbs for his descisions this game,it was jasons bad descisions
I hope we don't hear too much blame on the coaches after this one. Not when you have 6 turnovers. |
Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
Fuck this team. Yeah, Campbell screwed things up again trying to make a comeback just like he's done all season, but we never would have been IN that shitty position if we hadn't turned the ball over SIX TIMES.
This team has a long way to go. We're not playoff material right now, and IF we made it in (by some miracle) we don't belong with any of the real contenders. Until this team learns to show up on a regular basis and compete as a unit, we're doomed to endure this game in and game out. Everyone can take their optimism and shove it up their ass - this season is finished. |
Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
I don't wanna hear another report about Campbell crying though. Come on. I'm glad he's passionate about the game but crying don't win games.
Years? It's his first full season, still gotta give him the benefit of the doubt for now. He still played a good game. He'll learn from this.
Sure he will, and the Skins will rebound to go undefeated for the rest of the season, just have some faith in Joe you buckaroos, for he will right the ship.....eventually. |
Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
this might sound crazy but...
maybe the Redskins should think about switching to Mark Brunell or Todd Collins in a situation within the 20 yard line like that and with the gameclock as it was.. They both are veterans with experience and Jason Campbell can't seem to get it done when we NEED it.. |
Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
no kidding, im ready to argue this week.... and im sure the latter side will have plenty of supporters
I'm just waiting for the sappy, inevitable, "It was a good loss" type of inane comments like the ones that came out last week after the disgraceful loss to Dallas. |
Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
One question....we just brought in a 6'5" receiver.....and you throw a fade to 5'9" Moss.....WTF
I agree...esp. when you consider Moss's hands have been made of stone most of the game.... |
Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
no, growing pains would have been years ago. this is just ridiculous now
No this is what I expect from Jason Campbell in his first full year... this is the pros, when the game is on the line, the great veteran players will step up and make plays to win the game and the young guys are going to choke and learn... i still think we're an 8-8 team and nothing will change that... we are what we are... or should i say "we are who we thought we were" :) |
Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
seems every fuckin time a division team loses we do too..cant pull ahead for shit
|
Oh c'mon guys, we need to support our team and our coach, I know things look bad now, but gosh darnit we will eventually prevail!!!!
So F off and move on to a new team then. |
Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
I like campbell, but his experience is about the same as romos, and romo is light yrs ahead of him,you can tell romo just has it,I dont see that in jason

Sarcasm noted. We were 5-6 a couple years ago and went on to win 5 straight and make the playoffs. Remember that. |
Re: Redskins at Bucs game thread
I wanna hear the post game. Campbell usually does an interview after game. After blowing a game 2 weeks in a row, in the same fashion, do you think he'll actually do the interview? I know if I was him, I sure wouldn't.
