I do too. So what?

I really don't get the hate. He can price himself and negotiate how he wants.

For a union guy, you seem really anti labor when it comes to Kirk.

I don't I just have no respect for him.

The same as I have no respect for guys in my union who want raises at the expense of other workers.

The other thing he and his agent can go on about being Christian but greed is not a Christian quality.

He is greedy because you don't like him.

Is Zach Brown greedy? He hasn't taken what the team offered yet. If he would agree to a lower contract we could pay a RB1 more.

Everybody in professional sports negotiates the best contract they can for themselves. Being able to sell one's skills for a fair market price has nothing to do with being a Christian.

And btw, a fair market price is whatever 1 of 32 NFL teams is willing to pay.

Haters gonna hate...

I hope he gets ALL the money and wrecks the cap for whoever he signs with. Hopefully a team in the NFC

Brown wanting top 3 money is a bit much. He may get it from Miami.

How one conducts themselves and their business shows if they are what they claim to be.

Is anybody wanting top money not greedy?

Awesome approach to pro sports fandom. Wish I was there.

Keep it going as long as possible. I was crushed when I found out it was my mom leaving the presents under the tree.

Rumor: Kirk Cousins is seeking three-year deal with $90 million in guarantees

Guy is not even a top 10 qb but wants to be paid like he is the best.

Jimmy G isn’t the best, neither was Stafford or Carr before him. You do realize you don’t have to be the best to cash in right?

Carr looked like QB who could carry his team.

Stafford is like Cousins people talk about his numbers but wins are what matter and throwing you Megatron helped.

So if a player is good, in your eyes, they can demand top money and not be greedy?

You can stop worrying then. A NFL GM isn't going to sign kirk to a contract they think will hurt their team.

Problem solved! Now we can all relax.

Is Jimmy G greedy? Is he hurting the 49ers? Why is Kirk going to hurt his team but not these other guys?

Exactly.

The beauty of free agency is the market will set his value. Someone will pay him because they want him to be their QB and are ok with paying his price, not because he’s holding a team hostage with a ridiculous demand.

If Jiimy G does not elevate his team and plays less than top 5 while not working with team in the future yes.

But just reading how is contract is structured he can be cut with little dead money after 2020.
