Hell yeah, love the start of baseball season. |
Re: MLB thread
I miss a true opening day with all 30 teams starting the season within a few hours of each other but totally stoked for the season.

They better keep sucking right through Wednesday. |
Re: MLB thread
Even the Braves announcers got rings. Probably great for company morale, but a little weird IMO.
Hopefully they don't actually wear them around town. |

I was 11 living in NoVa at the time. I’d be asleep before game ended and the first thing I’d do when I woke up was turn on news to see if they won. |

Me and my brothers basically just take care of ourselves as parents worked, werent around a lot. Lots of boring summer days. That summer was when i started watching sports. Alone in my basement and Id watch Os games. ------------- Os start 0-3, pitching looks horrendous. 100+ losses incoming. I watched about 2 innings of the season opener so far. |

Ron Darling said on the broadcast Sunday that they have a number of pitchers that are not big league level and cant throw inside with any accuracy. Scary when you think of it that wat. |

Re: MLB thread
I thought safe too, thought there was some leeway with allowing the batter to walk back to first - as long as there was no attempt to run to second which Mancini clearly didn't.
