Re: Around the NFL Week 6
As ugly as it is for the defense to lose on the last play of the game, I wouldn't be blaming them.
I'm blaming New Orleans "High Powered" offense, which couldn't get a first down 2 times in a row to seal the game?! Thats pathetic. |
Tom.****ing Brady folks
I respect Tom Brady, as I respect any NFL Player, but I wonder a lot of times how his career would have panned out if he would have been on any other team. What I mean is, Brady has never really known a losing season, his team has always been in the playoffs and competitive. He missed one season on a fluke year due to injuries, and his backup came in and tore things up. How would Brady's career be viewed right now if he would have played here, or for the raiders, browns, etc.. We saw that without Peyton in 2011, the colts did indeed stink and it was clear Manning was the only thing holding them together. If the same logic can be applied to Brady, then the patriots of 2008 should have crumbled, but they didn't. they thrived. I think Brady is good but I think if he was anywhere else we would just be talking about him as an average QB, nothing less, nothing more... |

Jaws said on M&M this morning that He thinks Josh Freeman is one of the best Throwers in the NFL... Now a few months ago he said Kaepernick may be the best QB ever to play... I don't know how he has a job still.

I agree with him about both of those guys, but I think Tebow has the best arm. As far as the best running quarterbacks ever - it is a toss up between Payton and Eli. Eli is more carefulwith the ball though. So my vote for best qb of all time has to be Danny Weurfel. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 6
all great qbs but druckenmiller has my vote

Now you see why Brady has all the time in the world. Refs don't call holding on their OL.

But I'm sure New Orleans got a few too. The refs have been atrocious this year...led by Ed Hoculi, who I hope never refs one of our games again. |
Going with sd tonight 27-19

He does, but when he has time to throw and set his feet, he is as good as anyone. |

Agreed. Very acurate, he threw some sweet passes a few weeks ago against the pukes. |

If only Houston had Rivers..

Have you seen the number of drops by his receivers? Hayward-Bey was wide open and dropped what would have been a sure touchdown, same goes for Coby Fleener. He's getting no help tonight. |

lol always easy to find excuses for other teams

I did see the Fleener wide open drop. All QB's good or bad have receivers who drop balls every game. |

6 drops and a bad throw at the end. Game over. |

Idk I'm.just tired of hearing about luck and Wilson and ck when.they r basically.doing the same as what Griff is |

Like I've said, Lucks a good QB. I think if you put Andrew behind San Frans OL and he had more time, he's more deadly than Robert would be in the same scenario. Its not like its a major difference, but it is a noticeable one between the 2 and how they handle themselves in the pocket. |

I hear ya. And those guys aren't coming off an injury. |
Nobody said Griffin was better than luck but as.of right now he's not.much behind
