We're in trouble...our O-line sucks the sweat off a dead man's balls right now...
Taylor looking like he's in an awful lot of pain over there on the sideline. I feel sick man.
yeah, no question about it -- that was shades of Brandon Noble.

Just going by what it looked like, you have to wondert if it's a career-ender.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

Zorn should make them play the whole game, this is rediculous.....

J Taylor being carted off, awsome.

frost looks good thoo which actually sucks cuz i want brooks to win. we know what frost gives us, a slightly below average leg

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

For those of you not able to watch, they say Jason Taylor may just have a knee sprain. That seems amazing from what the video looks like. I hope that's all it is.

This is the crappiest performace in a LOOONG time....at least back to last preseason...
The bad part is, these are mental errors...these are performance issues

Potato Sack 08-23-2008 08:43 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

Play the starters until the the last second clicks off. They don't act like they even WANTED to play tonight. Screw that...I'd punish them and make them play the entire game, injuries or not.

what was that good news on taylor? and . .

touchdown

horton screws up again with a bad angle and lets another TD go in

Seriously? Also, Jason Taylor's eyes told a different story than Kelly Johnson with the "knee strain."

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

We need 500 yards and 5 TDs. Put in Colt "HOF" Brennan...

We'll be lucky to win a game this year if we play like this...

hahah chill man . .its preseason still. landry and others are out. remember our D is our anchor and our whole D is not playing tonight.

I've got to go face a Giant's fan on Monday. He loves to rub this crap in my face.

I'm not even upset. I've grown so used to this type of let down. Hopefully we bounce back next week.

Its Kareem Moore, not Horton that's screwing up.

Dude, if you can't see how terribly we've played in the last two games and that this could spill over into regular season, you're fooling yourself.

This team HAS to have consistency this close to the season.

Uh, actually. Landry was the only starter not in. He's a great player, but with how well Moore has been playing -- I dont think Landry would have made much of a difference so far this game.

you are right...it is moore

early word is a knee sprain with pending xrays

Beemnseven 08-23-2008 08:47 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

Up until taking a bad angle on that particular play, Moore's actually had a decent game.

But I'm really tired of hearing Larry Micheal defend this garbage.

Go for it. It doesnt matter, we need every snap on offense we can get.

Did anyone elses feed just die?

GMScud 08-23-2008 08:48 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

This is the worst thing I've seen since the Patriots game last year. We're getting throttled and lost a defensive stud with a what looks like a bad knee injury. Not really any positive spin we can put on this.

Potato Sack 08-23-2008 08:48 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

I'm just waiting for a sappy poster to write something like, "We're just showing our vanilla offense...I'm not worried at all."

Great pass before the sticks.

Is Gibbs on the sideline??

I dont find this funny yet
because its not because its sloppy...its that we are playing like a high school team

Ruhskins 08-23-2008 08:49 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

man, this is horrible. the offense looks like the same ol' anemic offense they ran last year (including the horribly short pattern in 3 and short which they just ran, missing the first down line).

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

This reminds me of early Gibbs games with Brunnell where all the passes were 3 yards and we struggled for first downs...the only difference is we could run for the difference then...our oline is getting embarrased
