+1 Night games are a young man's game too, I slept from 12:45 to 4:45 this morning and barely made it to work on time. Half groggy the entire day, moving like molasses. The sciatica is still acting up too which doesn't help. Didn't even have a beer either, I save that for watching the game with friends - which they don't wanna do right now because pandemic. Getting old sucks indeed. |

I’ve inserted a no drinking from Monday during the day to Friday morning abstinence clause in my life like when I turned 33,34-ish. Needed that…and then I stopped drinking Jack Daniels at 37ish…another step moving away from painful mornings |

Nothing but the green for me during the week.

Drinking today is stealing happiness from tomorrow. |
Re: The Getting Old Sucks Thread
This is where i get in trouble. Last Thursday I drank 4 beers over say 3 hours then i decide shit i will make a 7 and 7; well the 4 beers mask the Seagram's so I pour them heavy and in my mind I am like its just a 7up drink up; ugh.
I literally was hung over until 3 or 4 the next day and I might had 2 of those 7 and 7s. Being hung over is the worst feeling; i get head splitting headaches which make me nausea then i end up puking maybe 3 or 4 times. I HATE it! its why i rarely drink to drunk level and that I am older that drunk level or potential hang over level is so much less. |

My uncle use to call my house that I shared with roommates in college. He ask for Matthew and they say who is it and he reply it’s his mothers brother. That is equal to calling today yesterday’s tomorrow. |
Re: The Getting Old Sucks Thread
I dont really eat chips but we got a bag of dorritos. Ive had some dorritos after dinner a few nights this week and I wake up with like dry dehydrated lips in the morning. I brush my teeth. Last night I even splashed water on my lips.
I already stopped eating frozen pizzas bc of heart burn ... now chips bc of dry lips? Am I like becoming salt adverse? |

I have to pre-game with water before hitting up that place. |

Is it just me, or every year older you get, the more temperature on either side of the spectrum effects/affects (I'll die not knowing exactly how to use these words) you?

Age has had a huge effect (noun) on your sensitivity to temperature. The heat and the cold could affect (verb) SD’s mood today because he is so old. Had to look it up myself and not sure i will remember the next time i use one of the words. I usually just sort of mumble the beginning a or e when speaking. When typing i just wing it and hope im right. Ill try n remember sound effects because that is a noun. |

I have a buddy and his wife in town that I haven't seen since they were married 3 or 4 years ago. Had to go to the Just-For-Men. My grey game is getting real strong.
