Re: Bucs Postgame
Judging P. Smith on sacks alone is just dumb. He’s been very solid all year.

Re: Bucs Postgame
The Skins aren’t winning the SB but can they win the division and maybe win a playoff game? Definitely. Enjoy the ride kids.

Re: Bucs Postgame
So you'd rather the team lose instead? What's so terrible about potentially having a winning season and a playoff berth, and be able to build off that? Especially being able to do that despite having so many people injured on the offensive side?
Nobody is saying that. Lol. We are saying we would rather see a competent team win, than an incompetent team beat itself to our delight. Yes a win is a win. Im over the rainbow excited we got it, BUT, did your eyes tell you today that we are actually going to compete against a good team? Mine certainly did not. It is ok to be skeptical after a win if you think your team cannot normally win playing like they did. |

Not just sacks, but pressures, tfl, etc. I see as a guy who is basic. I’d really believe our defense could be next level with better play at a pivotal pass rushing spot in the league. If you ask me to chose....pay Preston smith or take his money and pay Clinton Dix...I’m gonna pay the better player every single time. And it’s not close, Clinton Dix is the better player. |
Re: Bucs Postgame
Suck it whiners. The 'skins won. Ugly or not, they won. No offensive line, struggling QB, and a defense that couldn't tackle half the time, yet, only gave up 3 points. I'll take it.
If they can sweep the Giants, at least split with the Eagles and Cowboys, that's 9 wins right there and a 4-2 record in the division. They can pick up at least a 10th win. |
Re: Bucs Postgame
My concerns for next week and improvement is needed here:
Better tackling Got to get to the QB and stop the scrambling, Fitzpatrick looked Fran Tarkenton out there. Deshawn Watson is a different animal. |
Re: Bucs Postgame
We got the Texans and than on the road against Dallas n Philly. Honestly right now my brain tells me we are 6-6 in three weeks. Giants at home is a win. At Jags, at Titans, vs Eagles. 7-9 is entirely not out of the equation if we don’t fix our offense, and clamp down on D as far as yards (which again normally lead to points). That isn’t Debbie Downer that is a completely realistic scenario. We need to get healthy and better or this 6-3 is just a fairytale like Mooby said. I don’t think there are any other 6-3 teams right now that you could make a case for finishing with one more win without going out on a limb. Enjoy the win for sure but PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

It was crazy to see Fitz run so much though. |

Hopefully next week we get Quinn, Dunbar, Thompson, Crowder back. This should help quite a bit, we have proven we can beat good teams, they just need to be consistent. |
Re: Bucs Postgame
Next 3 games will determine our season. Lose all 3, no playoffs. Win 1 of 3, still in pretty good position but gets uncomfortable, win 2 of 3, we're in fantastic position, and would probably be a lock, win all 3 and it's a playoff guarantee with a great chance for home playoff game.

One guy that no one has mentioned who did a hell of a job, Jeremy Sprinkle. he helped the OL with his superb blocking.

“As a Cowboy fan who hoped Wash would lose at TB, it just tears me up that the Bucs had 500 YARDS AND PUNTED JUST ONCE ... and scored only 3. Almost mathematically impossible. 4 turnovers and a missed chipshot FG. Gave me a headache.” Til you hiccup Skip |
