Re: MLB 2017 Thread
That loss was brutal. Nats just can't seems to get over the hump. So frustrating. As for Dusty, he made so many bad moves this series that I don't even know how they can bring him back.

Baker doesn't move the needle...and that whole explanation about the Strasburg thing? Is anybody on the same page in that effing organization? They really need to come together and find the systemic problem within the organization that they cant win a playoff series. Its time to address it. GOOD LORD CHECK OUT THIS STAT ABOUT DUSTY BAKER: Tipsheet: Baker endures another playoff nightmare | Jeff Gordon | stltoday.com His Washington Nationals had the Chicago Cubs down but couldn't knock them out. Baker suffered his 10th consecutive loss in a close-out postseason game. please move on from this guy |
Re: MLB 2017 Thread
Baker will remember that for the rest of his life. It is how you finish. Not where you start there.

Man, Verlander...what a stud. Fuck the Yankees

Re: MLB 2017 Thread
Until further notice dc sports is cursed in the playoffs. We could dominate the regular season and I still wouldn't have any faith. Idc if Baker comes or goes, but if he does walk they better not go with a young up and comer. Harper is on his last year here, it's now or never.

Dusty Baker....gone. He is my second favorite person named Dusty
Dusty Rhodes > Dusty Baker [YT]9py4aMK3aIU[/YT] Hard Timesth For These Nationals daddy |
Re: MLB 2017 Thread
Winning over the course of 162 games doesn't get you much these days. It's all about playoffs. Dusty stepped in a big pile of manure in the Cubs series, but he could have gotten a little more help from his bats. Now we're becoming chronically unstable, which is what made the Skins lousy under Snyder.

Re: MLB 2017 Thread
F the Yankees and their "rebuild" with their young team. Looks like they just got beat by another young team. Should be a good series.

Re: MLB 2017 Thread
Let’s go Astros

Re: MLB 2017 Thread
Im damn proud of my boys. Great season. Great experience. Yankees not only have a good young team on the field but a whole other slew of guys ready to come up now also. That is the difference between us and Houston. We are right there with them now but we will be better going forward. Thanks to Cashmans ability to buy and sell over the last couple years. Great moves, great scouts, great manager. When this team wins five more rings over the next several years i dont want to hear any moaning about them buying championships. But haters gonna hate. Lol.
