I think the "angst" is because aside from Manning not all these teams agree that the QB's you mentioned are all franchise QB's. If you only like 1 or 2 of the 4 there is no time to waste in getting your guy...

The [I][B]only[/B][/I] franchise QB available is Peyton Manning the others are [I][B]potential[/B][/I] franchise QBs.

Sounds like they're going to offer Landry something low due to him still not being 100%, but will easily let him walk too. Personally sick of his games and think for the long run it's best to cut ties.

4-3 d with Long at one DE and Orakpo at the other. I think the feeling is Po is better suited for a 4-3 End. the move would put Quinn at a LB spot or possibly Po at a LB spot. Rams are looking for a QB rushing complement to Long.

I would agree the rookies you mentioned are potential franchise QB's even though the teams will differ on how likely they are to fulfill that potential.

As for Flynn...I think it is very up in the air what the NFL really thinks of him. He's a former 7th round pick with 2 game tapes. I would think the consensus on him would be that he could be a starting upgrade for some teams but is not franchise QB material.

So I know a few weeks ago from what you were hearing it didn't look as if we were going to trade up. Would you say now from what you are hearing it looks like we are trying to move up?

This is outstanding, Davis and Fletch are key. The decision on Landry, would it be a franchise tag or actual deal? While asking and commenting on new deals, any word on bringing Carriker back?

yeah, but that is a positive thing. you believe they make a play for Manning as well if we do indeed get R3? that would be something...

I hope this is true. i think this guy is truly special. Im just hoping its a reasonable trade for us.
