Hey guys just a quick heads up. Seems like the NFL is willing to put in copyright claims for YouTube so I may have to make the videos unlisted, meaning they'll only be available through links here on the Warpath.

Haven't been flagged yet but the NFL is willing to put in claims.

The way it was explained to me by my family's lawyer is as long as I'm not profiting from the videos I'm protected under fair use and so far I haven't made a penny. Either way the NFL will try to shut down the YouTube account first before anything else, assuming they try anything, but so far I haven't even been given so much of a request or warning.

The NFL already lost a case where a professor posted the video of the NFL copyright claim on YouTube for her class as an example of a non-enforceable policy that violates US Law. The NFL sent a DMCA notice or what not, she took them to court, where the NFL lost, and the video remains on YouTube to this day.

Also keep in mind that theres still full games available on YouTube (Redskins-Texans has been posted since September). However if the NFL comes knocking I'll deal with it then, most likely with the videos being taken down for good. Just thought I should give a heads up that they may not be up forever.

Either way I certainly won't try anything that will put the warpath in danger.
So if even unlisted is enough to raise a fuss I won't do it.

Only a matter of time before they catch up with you. Believe me I know, and they don't mess around.

As long as the videos aren't hosted here I'm not worried. I hope. Don't worry if I get another call I'm tossing you under the bus. ;)

That was actually my next question. Could I host the video's here? Also I'm going to need you to sign a document saying you will pay for and cover me in any litigation that may result from my highly illegal activities. As far as I see it it's a win-win. :D
