McNabb mentioned that some of his former teammates were there for the press conference. i'm just listening to it now - any idea which guys showed up? very classy on their part and it shows the kind of loyalty players have for McNabb. Hopefully he's here long enough to develop a similar bond with our players, and that it translates into success on the field.
He mentioned former teammates? I thought that he just said some of my teammates are here showing their support.. aka his teammates now |
Re: McNabb Press Conference Thread
Some idiot just asked if McNabb would consider going into the Hall of Fame as a Redskin. How can a friggin sportswriter not know that in the NFL guys just go in, there is no team affiliation linking to the induction.

Re: McNabb Press Conference Thread
Shanahan on JC: had lunch yesterday, Jason was candid.. asked if he could look for starting job, Shanahan said yes he'd give the chance to start elsewhere before draft
if not JC will come back to us.. not sure if he meant that there was a deadline on him finding a starting job or not, I think more just about his tender.. mentioned JC is a classy guy |

Yeah but players come back and sign 1-day contracts so that they can retire as a player of a certain team. Monk did it.. recently Elam did but yeah induction as part of a team question is dumb |
