Is there a reason why we're giving Trample so much attention here? This thread shouldn't be about Trample and how he feels about the rest of the world. It seems like this thread isn't even about Haiti anymore, but instead it's all about Trample and the type of person he is...or at least the type of person he wants to come across as here.

We fear things that are different from us! Send Trample into exile! But no seriously. TTE is okay with me.

But good point SS. Back to Haiti.

I wish I could donate money but I'm already having problems making ends meet. Instead I think I might head down to the Red Cross and give blood. I'm sure they'll need lots of it after this disaster.

I'll give some blood. They tell me O+ is pretty good stuff. I haven't gotten any ink in awhile, so it should be cool.

After you give blood go have a few drink and they will knock you over.

Oh sorry, I realize now that wasn't very clear. He was there in the past, and even then there were plenty of dead people in the streets. He said that people die, and nobody moves them until they begin to stink.

The point I was trying to make was that, even without such a major disaster, they don't have the means (or desire?) to remove dead bodies from their streets -- they certainly cannot handle this on their own.

Good question . Seems that anyone who feels strongly about donating ... would do so out of compassion , not so they could " brag " about giving , then piss on anyone who doesn't . I give to a few charities and foundations , but I don't tell my friends , and then bash them if they don't also give ? Lets just hope < or pray > for the best for all of the people in Haiti , as making personal attacks on other/s won't help anyone . Wishing for the best in Haiti and hope everyone has a good safe night .

Redskins owner Daniel Snyder will donate the use of his private airplane to the relief efforts underway by Diageo’s Spirit of the Americas program. Joining the Diageo disaster relief team will be Ken Harvey, former pro-bowler and Director of Responsibility for the Washington Redskins.

The plane is currently scheduled to depart for Haiti on the morning of Sunday, Jan. 17, and will be stocked with relief personnel and supplies, along with clothing donated by the team.

“We’re not a relief organization, but there are times when our resources allow us to step in and make a difference, if only a small one,” Snyder said. “Diageo has been involved in relief efforts around the world for many years, and we’re fortunate to be able to partner with them, Getting the right people and supplies to Haiti is critically important, and we’re providing our best resources.”

One thing people cannot say about Dan is that he does not care for his fellow man. We have seen what he has done for his players in time of need and now we see what he is doing for the people in Haiti.

Re: Massive Earthquake Devastates Haiti

What the hell. I'm watching this on TV over the past few days and all they keep talking about is how to get the supplies to all the people. Is it really that hard? Just put the stuff on a truck and take it out to the dang people. Unload the trucks and then make another trip an have a few armed people to control the crowds. Then we have CNN interviewing a 14 yr old girl while she is still trapped in a building. Put down the freaking camera and help them don't stick a mike in her face. I guess CNN only has good rating when we have disasters so they have to do anything to get people to watch. The Un also has done just about nothing.
