I can't see Brennan in the mix. Why would you trade a starter for a work in progress or more accurately an unknown quantity? Denver wants a starter for a starter, so maybe the Cleveland connection is legit. But I think it would be nuts for Cleveland to get rid of Quinn for Campbell, unless they do have their doubts about him.

What if we had to trade Campbell for Cutler just to trade down for multiple 2nd round picks in this year's draft...would you then consider it?


I'm for a hold on Campbell by the way. It's like the stock market around here with all the speculative trading. We should be long for Campbell for the stability of our team.

Let's just say for a second that this crazy situation happens and we do trade for Cutler, what does this mean for Zorn? Does it mean that Zorn has a year and he's out if things don't work out or does it mean that DS is giving Zorn more time here (i.e. it wouldn't be fair to judge him for a year with a new QB, therefore he's going to be given two years with Cutler).

Quinn's the most dynamic of the bunch, but part of that is because he's played the least.

I was entertained by that trade proposal. A whole lot of picks and players tossed about and at the end of the day, no one has a significantly better or worse QB situation.

let's give up two pro-bowl players in their prime to get a prissy QB who's only moderately better than the one we're already got.

Well they drafted him didn't they? They love Colt...but they're quite find of Campbell too. But their fondness of Campbell is more like "he's such a good guy, we're really rooting for him" They think they can win with Campbell (unlike Ramsey, for example)...which isn't necessarily the same as Colt, who they think they can win because of (except not for another year or two at least)

It's kinda like the Redskins are Zack Morris and Campbell is their good friend Lisa Turtle. Stupid trade. But riddle me this....

What if (and I mean WHAT IF) this is all being put out there, simply to light a fire under Jason Campbell's butt? What if this is being put out there as an attempt to see if he can step his game up to the next level?

It's probably just a rumor...I'm just throwing it out there.

I think Campbell will be better with more passing options and a better O-Line. Give him a chance!

JC better step up or his butt is leaving as is Cerrato's. This is the make or brake year for JC. I would trade for Cutler next year if he was available, but I think he gets traded to Minnesota.

Yeah I initially had used Jessie but then switched to Lisa, not really sure why. I guess so people didn't think I was claiming Campbell had an addiction to pills (I'm so excited!) and was headed for a future as a Vegas showgirl :)
