Who will we hound for insider info now?! At this point it probably doesn't even matter, I guess. It's a full on shit show in all directions. |
Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
I think it's about time to end this circus. RG3 performance on the field has been below average over the last two seasons. If that wasn't bad enough all the drama that comes with him makes things even worse. The team would be better off with him off it.

Nothing short of a miracle keeps RG3 on the roster by week 1. I can't see them parking him at 3rd string, nor can I see anyone trading for him. That 16 million dollar option just kills his tradeability.
Picking up that option ironically doomed RG3 to end his tenure here with just getting outright cut. Whatever happens, I just want it to happen NOW, and so we can move on and talk about X's and O's. |

Not sure it's safe anywhere right now. |

Was just talking to my brother about that one about 10 minutes ago. Also guarantees he doesn't end up in the division. Man that would be awkward though.... |

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
I would deactivate him and he'd be 3rd string. Maybe someone offers you a draft pick if a QB goes down. Cutting him loose makes no sense to me.

Cutting him loose makes sense to me because 1) The circus is over. You cut ties and say, "Hey Fresh start for both of us, just didnt work out, blah blah". It's over, the RG3 drama can end TODAY 2) How much value is a third string QB really? You're not gaining anything by keeping him. Just a distraction 3) He can still get hurt in practice. That means you are on the hook for the $16 million. No sense in taking that risk. |

WORST case scenario is we cut him, and the Eagles pick him up.. He'd have a much higher chance of doing well in that offense, and there's near certainty Bradford gets injured at one point. Would HATE HATE to see him beat us, since there is probably some potential for Griffin doing okay on another team.[/quote] I'd like to see him in Philly. It's his best chance. If he is successful then I'll eat crow but much like the Eagles when they let McNabb go to the Redskins, I'm pretty confident that he fails there too and at least then people will realize just how bad he is. I'm not convinced that KC is ready to take this team to 10 win seasons but this is a team sport and having a QB who fits into the system and can manage the game would help make huge strides in setting the direction for this team. Give KC two years as the lone starter without the RG3, emphasize the run with Jones and Alf and spend the next 2 years drafting in the trenches and secondary. Continuity and vision is king. |

SS dont go! Come'on you knew this RG3 was gonna end bad and stir drama. |
Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
Bradford looked all world in his last game and Sanchez doesnt look horrible....why would the Eagles want Griffin, hes more fragile than Bradford.
