Check out Ed Werder. SM determined to move on......
Wow! Sounds like RG3 might really be done here in Washington. Who knows...maybe RG3's comment "I don't know, I just work here man" comment actually pissed off Dan Synder. |
Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
I don't know, maybe it's me, but I felt the "I just work here, man," comment was about RG3 trying to avoid media criticism. This is why I think that:
The question was something to the effect of, "Was there any concern about you going back in, was there any discussion with the coaches about whether or not it was a good idea to have you go back in with the number of times you were getting hit?" Ok so, he might have said: 1. "Yeah, I told him I wanted to keep playing no matter what because that is what a true competitor does." And if he did, the media would say stuff like . . . why is RG3 in the discussion, this is a coaches decision, I wonder if RG2 was involved too, Gruden is a bad coach for listening to the player the decision is his to make, RG3 still has no perspective about protecting himself its all good to be a competitor but to risk the season because of pride he's not looking out for the good of the team more RGme. 2. "Yeah, we all decided to keep me in there because we wanted to try to make progress with the first team Offense." Again they would say, why is he involved in the decision making process blah blah blah, he's just saying exactly what Gruden said and obviously he thinks something different or it wouldn't sound so contrived 3. "Yeah, but in retrospect maybe I should have come out sooner." Now he's throwing the coach under the bus, there is a disconnect between QB and HC, he's just trying to protect himself why else would he not want to stay in the game maybe he's being traded and he knows it and he's just trying to survive . . . blah blah blah So, yeah, I guess he could have said, "NO, that is a coaching decision, but I have a lot of faith in Gruden and his judgement. It is never an easy decision to make, but I stand by what he decided." Where does RG3 come off thinking he's a good judge of coaching prowess? Not only does he think he's the best QB in the league, but a coaching talent scout too? Why is he commenting on the decision anyways, it is not his place. He knows it was a bad decision otherwise why would he feel a need to defend it, he's just biding his time. This is easier and more fun then I thought |
Happens all the time with concussions. Are you saying Gruden paid off the independent neorologist? Or that Gruden himself is really the independent neurologist? I don't see how a team could manipulate the NFL's concussion program. How exactly would it work?
The creation of the NFL's Concussion protocol is to keep a concussed player from playing. That is all. It is Not intended to police or prevent a team from keeping a healthy player from not playing. Having said that I don't think anyone was paid off. There is no conspiracy. Just another chapter in the RGIII/Snyder story...drama...embarrassment. |
Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
No matter if it was just an honest re-assessment or a conspiracy theory, the "this could only happen to the Redskins" applies and is a certifiable fact. The clown show continues. This year is off to a terrible start. Ughhh! I don't want to go 4-12 again!
Has anyone considered it could have been RG3's camp that asked for another review of his medicals?
That seems doubtful considering he posted this: @RGIII Trusting in God even when I don't understand why certain things happen. James 1:2-3 (NLT)
https://twitter.com/Edwerderespn Check out Ed Werder. SM determined to move on......
:Flush: You all were saying? |

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
Scot McCloughan flexing his muscle? Standing up to Snyder? Maybe....maybe not.
The only silver lining in this unfortunate situation is we finally have an open QB competition and we get to see KC with the starters this preseason. Get to see what he can do. I am not saying how he will do, it is a definite wait and see, but here is hoping for the best. |

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
I am not saying it is not true, but does anybody find it odd that Ed Werner is the one reporting this? The Cowboys beat reporter is reporting on a source close to the redskins.

Ed Werner is pretty solid...

Ed Werder ✔@Edwerderespn One #NFL source who knows #Washington GM Scot McCloughan well says he's determined to change team culture and must move on from @RGIII 11:03 AM - 29 Aug 2015 Love when reporters give purposefully vague second hand 'reports'. 'and he must move on from Griffin' It is left unclear whether it's the sources opinion or the Scott's opinion that Scott must move on from Griffin. Everyone says Scott is an above the board straight shooter. If he wanted to move on from Griffin there are more direct (and less messy) and effective means then this... |
