First time HC should delegate a lot of his responsibilities so he doesn't get overwhelmed like Ron did. |

Same goes for the other 1st time coaches, MacDonald looks the part, has had success in the NFL, college and back to the NFL. He comes from the Ravens and Michigan,, I more than trust he can do the job. I’m sure he could find an OC to run his offense. Belichick, Ryans, Vabrell, Tomlin, McDomough, Carroll and others are former DC’s that became successful HC’s. |
Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
It looks like it's between Dan Quinn , Ben Johnson at this point. I haven't seen any interview request for Mac or Slowik

MacDonald had his video interview last week, along with a couple of others. They put out requests to at least 8 candidates (https://www.hogshaven.com/2024/1/16/24040048/washington-commanders-coaching-front-office-tracker-ben-johnsons-virtual-head-coach-interview-friday) who they will be interviewing over video links. They will then likely be interviewing at least 5 in person, they have to include two minority candidates from outside the building as per the Rooney rule, I am assuming that will be Raheem Morris and Aaron Glenn. As with Adam Peters I think that Ben Johnson was the preferred candidate going into this so the other 4 will have to wow them to get to the final 2. |
Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
I'm going with surprise hire, Aaron Glenn (as a guess).

I am not interested in Dan Quinn. a. He's defense was the product of playing with a lead b. He wears his hat backwards. The only person who should do that at his age is Junior. It just makes him look like a douche |

But it’s nuance, I’ll flip a hat backwards if Im brimming someone or really getting into whatever I’m doing. |
