Re: RG 3 This Season
A few years ago I thought he was a good person but not a good NFL qb.
Now after leaving his wife when she was pregnant and then posting a zillion pics of him with that other woman, I dont think he is a good person. At least not a person of high moral character. I dont feel bad for the guy at this point. Soon enough he will find himself sitting on an empty couch, out of the NFL and alone bc that FSU girl is just using him to spring board her modeling career. I feel like I just made my last RG3 post. Man, things really changed from Fed Ex rocking the RG3 chants. |
Re: RG 3 This Season
The Browns chances of beating us just actually went up with McCown on track to start against us.

I'm not sure he sticks around as a back-up. Back-ups need to come in and make an offense work based on a game plan built around another guy. I suggest that most NFL back-ups have to be able to competently run a standard drop-back passing offense and are mostly plug-and-play guys. They can stand in the pocket, run the play called, and get the ball out. Generally, they aren't starters because they lack one of the essentials for starting QB's - either their arm isn't strong enough, they aren't accurate enough, or they are completely immobile. When your back-up is playing, you are not adding wrinkles; you are going more basic. RGIII just doesn't have the make-up of an NFL back-up. He is not and will never be a drop back passer. For whatever reason, he cannot get the ball out on time or with anticipation. He has plenty of arm, starter quality accuracy, and is still plenty mobile. However, you can't just plug him into a standard NFL offense and expect it to be run efficiently. He may stick around for a couple years just b/c of his physical talent, but I just don't see him pulling a Jason Campbell and becoming a journeyman QB - bouncing around the league, possibly starting for a couple teams but generally being a solid back-up. He just doesn't have the right skill set.
Couldnt agree more, been calling him VY2{Vince Young the 2nd}for along time |

A blowout loss from the browns might be the franchise's all time lowest point? |

I mean all you need to know is that he was texting a hooters waitress pictures of his junk on the day of his wedding. Griff is a piece of shit |
Re: RG 3 This Season
he blamed it on being pushed in the back, i just watched the replay 5 times - that "push" (touch) on the back had no bearing on what he did. always full of excuses, lil turd.

But he knew he was fricking hurt,he never raised that arm after getting up,he should have taken himself out, especially on 4th down, thats just hurting the team. |
Re: RG 3 This Season
Just like Seattle, he refused to take himself out and doesn't take any blame. The guy is who he is, a phony and incredibly selfish.

He was the biggest thing to hit the B&G in some time. What could have been if he hadn't got hurt in the SEA game. |

I think you mean the Baltimore game, and what could have been had he knew how to slide. |

How many of you bought RG3 jerseys?
How many of you bought RG3 jerseys?
i bought the 2nd tier 2012 throwback, $100. i think i bought it after the draft, before the season started. nameplate removed - it's a solid trent green jersey, just like my 1995 starter terry allen jersey became a sean taylor jersey. |
How many of you bought RG3 jerseys?
I got mine as a present so I'm not that mad that I have one. Hail I will still wear it too. He provided one magical season for us. As Skins fans we haven't had to many of those since Gibbs retired. |
Re: RG 3 This Season
I have an RG3 jersey. Really thought he was going to comeback and be s stud again at some point. Sucks he got hurt again I was hoping he did well in Cleveland. I was always love him for 2012!

No - losing Sean Taylor was and I doubt we could identify a close second. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

NFL defenses would have figured out how to stop him - and we'd be left with a QB who can't read a defense or pass from the pocket. He was all of those things but his running ability hid what should have been obvious. |
Re: RG 3 This Season
Injury update for you RG3 lovers out there, now expected to miss 10-12 weeks.
