Icy out there. Work place text group said dont come in or come in late. I had to come in to take care of something, planning on being here for maybe an hour then go home. Im the only one here.

Called Fenwick Beer in Silver Spring and theyre open. Looked through their twitter and they got some new beers in.

Excited.

Start closing down my computer

fucking bosses walk in after implying they wont be in. I start talking up the icy conditions etc .. they say its all slush now.

I have yet to have a fucking snow day this year.

Today was my second day back at work, normally I'd be loving some snow but when I left for work just after 5 this morning they didn't even plow the road out of my neighborhood or put salt down. I started sliding as soon as I tried to accelerate slowly.

Now I'm at work and the snow turned to this icy mix where it freezes on the way down, then hits a warm patch of air in the clouds, then it refreezes as it gets closer to the ground because it's only like 28 here. So my lunch and going home are gonna be icy as fuck. This is no bueno.

Brother up in Wall measured 15 on his deck .He said the roads were ok .Down here in Southern Maryland where I am we had 2 but the cold was /is a bitch.

Totally. Always say that. Somehow snow makes it warmer. Also makes things cleaner. A normally crappy street in a crappy neighborhood looks just like a hallmark channel set. Lol

I def like to get out and enjoy a hike/walk in the snow, but you only need several inches to enjoy it. The snow covered backdrop gives it a nice change up.

Not a fan of can’t drive and everything is shutdown.
