Is Eli just in some kind of funk right now or could he have peaked and now we are watching the downside of his career begin?
I have only the utmost respect for the Manning Brothers, it is amazing that Peyton is 38 years old and still playing like a young man. Has Eli peaked? Or will this work itself out? Somebody said the other day that Eli is on pace to have 30 interceptions this year. Will the giants bench him before it gets that bad and its clear the season is over?
The Giants are just a bad team right now and Eli is pressing to make things happen. He's 32, he's far from being done. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 6
Eli slumped a couple of years ago, when he led the league in INT's. He rebounded later with a Super Bowl win. Don't stick a fork in Eli yet.

Re: Around the NFL Week 6
Randall Cobb took a real bad shot to the knee in the Ravens vs Pack game. Ill be shocked if he is not done for the rest of the season.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 6
Someone tell me why Flacco deserves that huge contract.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 6
Schaub comes out with an ankle injury. Luckily backup T.J. Yates is able to come in and throw a pick 6.
|
I really like glennon

Well that sucks, not only for him but for my fantasy team. |

There are always two of them. A Sith Lord and his Padawan. |
Told everyone Sam Bradford is legit.

Cause he played lights out during their SB run. He earned it. |

Bradford has always had the raw talent. He's just never had any pieces around him. |

lol that team is in a free fall. We know of the offense struggles, but what about that defense getting killed? |

I agree he deserved a good contract, but I don't think he deserves to be the 2nd highest paid player in the NFL. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 6
It should be illegal for the Jags to pay the Broncos. That is cruel and unusual punishment.
lol
that team is in a free fall. We know of the offense struggles, but what about that defense getting killed?
Yeah, defense did not play well today.Schaub played ok but penalties killed them,so no points.Texans offense has gotten too predictable. They never throw it deep, love the playaction rollout, and thats it.Thet dont have any receivers with speed to test the defense. I dont think they can make the playoffs now.I'd like to see them lose a few more games and hope Kubiak gets fired,he should have been fired 3 years ago after going 6-10 |
Re: Around the NFL Week 6
Wes Welker, another TD? Guy is amazing, still shaking my head at the Pats. Welker leading the league in TD receptions
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 6
This is hilarious, Jags actually making a game out of this.

Re: Around the NFL Week 6
Fans are spoiled in Denver. They were booing at the half and their team was winning 14-12. WTF??...lol

The ones booing were most likely bandwagon fans like denim monger, the member here who's changed teams about 30 times. So glad I'm not a long time fan of the Broncos; those bandwagoners would be very annoying. |

Lol, could be worse I guess, they could be cheering for their own QB getting injured like those in Houston. |

It is one of those times that the Broncos can't win no matter what. If they cover that spread, everyone will expect it and most likely just say it was b/c the Jags are so bad. If they win a close one or worse lose, it is the end of the world and the team is a fraud/overrated. |

I wish we had a lot more bandwagon fans...not because I like them but because it'd be nice to be kickin' butt that way. |

Amendola knocked out cold...

Saints/Pats is a good game.
Amendola knocked out cold...
Yes he was. That was a body rocker he took. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 6
I feel bad for Amendola. He's a good receiver but he's always gonna have injury issues. And wtf is up with the Pats running 5 straight times in the red zone? Never thought I'd see that day with Brady as their qb. Also f Brady for 7 straight quarters with no touchdowns. YOU'RE KILLIN ME SMALLS!!!!

Re: Around the NFL Week 6
Tom may have to throw it to himself..........but he will if necessary

Re: Around the NFL Week 6
