That's what I was thinking, actually. It reminded me of before the Falcons game last year.
IMO, the problem with AH is he cares more about his personal stat line than that of winning. If he can inflict pain and get sacks in a 50-0 blowout loss, I think he's fine with that. But a win when he is basically a non-factor and he's pissed off. A lot of the times when he was getting manhandled was because he was trying to go lateral instead of standing up and taking on blockers (like a NT is supposed to). At end, he might be able to contribute this year, but unless he completely changes his mindset (highly unlikely) he will only be a pass rusher from the middle of the DL much like Holliday is.
He cares about winning, but he also wants to win in his way, for the most part.

He's likely not going to get either here(and if he does get a ring, he still won't be totally happy), although he might get to play "his way" if he went to Dallas, because the NT over there is in a penetrator role. He won't be winning a Super Bowl though. :D
I think McIntosh was supposed to cover him on the crossing route but, just as Williams crossed in front of McIntosh, Romo looked like he was going to scramble/run and McIntosh moved up to stop letting Williams run free. Maybe DHall had the zone in the flat but had drifted back to double someone back there. Not sure. Can't believe you wouldn't have someone on all the WRs down there.
That is a good analysis. Looked to me like Hall had the zone but left his area, but I am not sure of that. Next time either Rocky or Hall needs to do better in coverage.

if thats the case i hope reed is sure to tell reporters repeatedly that they ran that play a whole bunch in practice, they were prepared for it but his "gotta make a play" corner got antsy and left his area.
As far as my vote for goat, it'd have to be either Doughty for giving up the lone TD to Dallas or Mcnabb for forcing that 3rd and goal pass to Armstrong for the second time in a row, where as if he had waited a half second later you see Cooley open as hell at the goal line running to the sideline away from Brooking allowing the skins to go up 17-0.
I guess I have to explain this since people have short/bad memories. "Pockets Straight" is what Portis said to B-Mich when they got into it on the John Thompson show. It is a joke not a reference to my financial status. I work for the Gov't and have been middle class my whole life.

Because making false assumptions is so commonplace around here, I wanted to set this straight. (kind of like my pockets...)

Hay moron, you seem to make a lot of assumptions about people who support Obama. If you want to talk politics we have a forum for that. In the future keep the discussions in the Locker Room politics free. Ya'heard? You've already added nothing to the forum, don't make it worse by adding politics to your already stupid posts.

Hay is for horses (anyone else see irony in someone calling another person a moron and they start their post out by misspelling a 3 letter word? It doesn't get much better than that!). What exactly are you going to do about any of my posts, stupid or not?

I didn't know you were the forum police. Maybe they can make a badge avatar for you?

It's not misspelled, it's what I call donkeys. Your shortcomings are glaring and it's not my place to do anything about your nonsensical posts. I'm just letting you know you need to straighten up and fly right around here before you get clipped.

Soooooooo, back to Jackson. Anyone concern that once VJ gets paid hes not going to try.

Also, I hope AJ Smith does give some leeway in this situation, because at this point I think it is all on him and whether he decides to move on and trade VJ or continue to have a pissing match with him.

Re: Game Goats

Well, I still think slow as molasses Reed Doughty should be kicked off the team.

It is amazing how slow and sluggish he was, and how putrid his tackling and coverage was. I can't believe that he is still on the squad. There has to be someone on a practice squad or a free agent that is not such a liability as reed doughty. We need to scour the waiver wire, or dangle AH out there for a real FS. Id take just an average FS at this point, just anything but doughty.

His play was simply horrid. I can't see how we will win another close game with him patrolling the secondary, especially this week against such a potent passing attack. I hate to say it, but I think we might get frrikkin creamed this week.

*Crosses Fingers*

Hay is what you feed animals. "Hey" is how you address someone.

Btw, I have forgotten more about the Redskins than you know and I very well may be clipped but it won't be by you. So take your "nonsensical" idle threats somewhere else. If you start ridiculous threads, I am going to call you out whether you wear a skirt or not. You were the one calling names. Smarten' up.

There will be some variation of "Game Balls" and Game Goats" threads every week win or lose. No reason for there not to be

Why would we go you go back to an off-topic discussion?

Sunberg is my biggest Redskins goat. If I ever have a pet goat, I'll consider naming him "Sundberg", nickname "Sunny".
