Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

If only Campbell could throw to wide open recievers, Orton not so bad huh.

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

its plays like that, that get ppl against campbell. wide open moss and overthrows him

diehard 11-15-2009 01:37 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

Unthinkable. Is Smoot playing corner ahead of Rogers? O is playing good and taking shots downfield.
Okay even if Hall was expecting help from the safety.. isn't he still partially responsible to cover?
Well this was a zone coverage....but yes he should've realize this was f'ing Brandon Marshall.

Campbell can burn in hell

jamf 11-15-2009 01:37 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

Campbell cannot make that throw...

Great blocking and wide open wide receiver but he never ever makes the throw :(

tryfuhl 11-15-2009 01:37 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

look at Betts.. still churning the legs to pick up yards... stephen davis style.. or kinda like that guy we used to have.. ahhhhh what was his name.. Portis?

DynamiteRave 11-15-2009 01:37 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

Wow JC, take some heat off that pass. Good Lord.

Bucket 11-15-2009 01:37 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

lol... He threw that ball 1,00000 mph.

tryfuhl 11-15-2009 01:38 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

bad throw.. too much heat.. but Davis could've had that

why does campbell put so much heat on his short passes?

Ruhskins 11-15-2009 01:38 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

Shit Campbell, he could've run for the first down!!

Ugh, and missing Moss wide open, COME ON!

Not a great throw but he's gotta make that catch. Butterfinger motherfucker.

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

Campbell prolly has the strongest arm in the NFL right now, but he can't hit me in the face with the ball if Ii was 2 feet from him
Campbell prolly has the strongest arm in the NFL right now, but he can't hit me in the face with the ball if Ii was 2 feet from him
And then he overthrows the open man downfield by a good 10 yards.

Ruhskins 11-15-2009 01:40 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

Rogers, zone coverage, and safety coverage is not working at all. We're going to make Orton look like f'ing Brady.

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread
Wasn't Halls fault. He was in a zone.

There was no safety overtop?

Doughty ftl
The hell it wasn't Hall's fault. You're supposed to release the receiver to the safety, not just stop fucking running. He still could have been trailing the Marshall much better than that.

Dude I cant bear to watch this one especially since our frats president is a broncs fan

Plus USC lost yesterday I've just got a sick feeling in my stomach.... someone let me know if we win so I don't have a massive coronary from watching this...lol

Good play calling though. Levi Jones seems to be doing a good job although there seems to be some pressure.

Smoot was playing safety...he looked confused let Marshall go by him.

Orakpo would prolly have 20 TFL's and 10 sacks right now if he was DE full time.

At least they aren't torching us down field this drive. Geez.

You obviously didn't see the first drive.

Shit, our d-line can't even breathe on Orton.

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

Campbell's arm strength doesn't matter. He cannot throw a deep ball

Pocket$ $traight 11-15-2009 01:44 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

Rogers and Doughty getting beat in deep coverage! The only thing missing is Gibbs on the sidelines.

If I took a shot for every time Campbell threw a 4 yard pass as hard as he could I would be in an alcohol coma...

what's crazy is that they call orton's rating overinflated due to his short passes... I think that we have the same thing here

except orton can hit a wide open man downfield

wow I wonder if we'll be in this in the 3rd qrtr....Whoever loses to us is gonna be the laughing stock of the NFL

Actually, Smoot was playing safety during that second TD. During the first TD, they were playing man coverage.

serious question

what's the last pass campbell hit far downfield? ball in the air at least 30 yards? maybe 40
