I laugh every time ESPN has Brandon Lloyd listed as a key loss for us.
Yeah, I don't know how we'll fill his shoes.

Oh lord have mercy -- Sal Palontonio just said Andy Reid might try to trade down past KC to get Albert.

How did KC get two picks in the first anyway?

Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread

I rather have Merling over Albert.
Will Albert get past Detroit? They're not smart enough to take him are they?
Lions will probably go with Mendenhall.

Holy Crap, these draft boards are insane, they just showed detroits.

I like Albert but I don't know if I want him. Just because the drop off from 1st to 2nd or 3rd rounds at OL is not as big, in my opinion, as the drop off in talent at DE. I think drafting Merling allows for a better overall draft

Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread

STILL ON THE KENNY PHILLIPS BANDWAGON!!! GO KP!!! Cromartie, KP, or Brandon Flowers. Take the second for a WR, the rest draft OL and DL depth. Maybe a CB in the third

SKINSnCANES 04-26-2008 04:42 PM

Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread

let me be the first to assume the lions take the first receiver in the draft!!! lol

KC trades up -- no question about it now -- they're going to nab Albert.

Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread

Alright, now I'm hoping for Rogers-Cromartie or Phillips.

JoeRedskin 04-26-2008 04:47 PM

Re: The official 2008 draft discussion thread

Anybody got a link to the site that list the terms of these various trades?

So far I count these:

New Orleans trades up to New England
Jacksonville trades up to Baltimore
KC trades up to Detroit.

Good move by the Lions, get an extra 3rd & 5th to move down two spots.

I don't think DRC gets past TB.

Arizona should take DRC or Jenkins. But Felix Jones wouldn't surprise me

Yeah, you're right about DRC. The more I think about it, I really just hope Vinny doesn't take a wideout. Haven't had much luck at that position in the draft lately.

Apparently the Bucs told Jenkins he'd be their pick if he's there. Which he might be

If AZ goes DRC, Millen actually looks smart for a change by geting the extra 3rd and stil getting Mendenhall.

I agree. If he takes a WR I won't be able to watch the rest of the draft because I'll throw the laptop thru the TV.

Great fit for TB with Jenkins, USF guy.
