I live in South Jersey. I listen to Eskin alot. Happen to like him but I would not take his tweet for anything more than pure speculation.
Boy could I see Gruden as the next Eagles coach though. He actually looks like an Eagles coach - whatever the hell that means.
Maybe that's why he has put on a few pounds. LOL. |
Anyone watch Jimmy Johnson a football life? Great stuff
Yep..Football Life is can't miss TV for us NFL junkies. Didn't know that Hoody and Johnson were tight. Not sure if too many people know this but Johnson coached Dexter Manley at OK State. |
Pierre Garcon and Josh Morgan, wide receivers, Washington Redskins: In terms of APY (Average Per Year), the $8.5 million average on Garcon's five-year, $42.5 million contract with the Redskins ranks sixth among unrestricted free agent contracts that were signed in 2012. Garcon's deal was a questionable contract to begin with, because even with a healthy Peyton Manning in Indianapolis, he wasn't posting receiving numbers that warranted an $8.5 million per year contract that included over $13 million in cash this season. Garcon's tenure in D.C. started well, catching four passes for 109 yards and a 88-yard touchdown from No. 2 overall pick Robert Griffin. A foot injury in that game, however, has limited Garcon to just four receptions for 44 yards in two games since the opener and he may not return at all this season. Garcon's $5.6 million base salary in 2013 is currently guaranteed for injury only, but becomes fully guaranteed on the third day of the 2013 league year (March). As for Morgan, he signed a two-year, $11.5 million contract that contained $7.3 million in guaranteed money. While he leads the Redskins in receptions (29), he is averaging less than 11 yards per reception, has yet to find the end zone and ranks 63rd in Football Outsiders' receiving DYAR (Defense-adjusted Yards Above Replacement) metric.
|

Didnt Garcon have better numbers with Curtis Painter though. If you take the brief snapshot of his healthy game time he is worth every penny. Gonna holdout on the bust word until he is fully healthy. |
A little envious of the Colts vertical passing game. Luck looks like Drew Brees moving around the pocket.
Plus his relationship with Bruce Allen.
I could be wrong but didn't Tampa start to suck at the end of Gruden's & Allen's stanza? I didn't follw TB closley during that time put it all went into a downward spiral. I don't think recreating the Skins into Bucs 2.0 would be an improvement over what we are now. Plus Gruden wants player personnell control. That's killing the team right now. A HC with GM powers. Which lead to his downfall at his previous stint. Sounds familiar? |

Gruden was primarily responsible for the personnel during his time there. That team he won with the Super Bowl was picked by Rich McKay and Tony Dungy. (mostly McKay) |
Looking at that schedule I'd be happy beating Dallas in Dallas and at home and I'll be good. 6-10 at best imo
You know what, if they only win one more game I'd rather it be Balt. Bloody hell how I hate that team and more so there fans. Actually its just the fans that make me despise that franchise. I actually hate them more than NY and Dallas. |
It's so frustrating seeing a colts team with a brand new staff and QB win and we can't. ****

And with their HC out, none the less? Considering what he's going through I kinda have to root for Indy. Plus a friend just got into football and him and his Wife are Colts fan. So that's another reason. And for the record he's a Skins fan as well. He likes RGIII way more than Luck and is hoping he has a better carrer than the number one pick. |
