Re: Redskins
The same could be said about us at 3-3. I know if our defense can't sack Cutler at least 5 or 6 times with the horrible o-line the Bears have, that would be simply sad.
Through 6 games the Bears o-line has given up 27 sacks. That's 4 1/2 per game. Even the Seahawks were able to sack him 7 times, and you can't tell me the Seahawks are this defensive powerhouse like the Giants are. Like I said, we should be able to get to Jay Cutler with how porous the Bears o-line is. All we need to do is get a lead and make them pass to catch up. Now the Bears defense is pretty good too, but they're not the Steelers defense. They can be scored on. And don't forget the Bears would be 3-3 right now if the officials had ruled that was a catch by Calvin Johnson in week 1. |

We're 3 pt. dogs in this one. Even Bears' fans are laughing at that line.

Martz and Cutler is a match made in near heaven. |
Re: It's F-ing Bears Week!
Martz and Cutler is a match made in near heaven.
Usually just from the perspective of NFL defensive coordinators.
I honestly think it would work there if they had better OL personnel, because they really do out-scheme some very good defenses. But Cutler get hits so much that he's absolutely stopped reading coverages and going through progressions. Ergo, that Martz relationship hasn't proven beneficial to his career. Of course, one of the reasons they don't have better OL personnel is because they traded multiple first rounders for a mediocre QB prospect they didn't have the means of developing. At least they got rid of that "bum" Orton. Still could turn around, but right now, things don't look good. |
Hence the "near" part. They're an OL away from reaching offensive "heaven".
Well, that and like two years of teaching Cutler how to read NFL coverages.
Like I said, it could still work. They're just wasting time spinning their wheels in mud. |
Re: It's F-ing Bears Week!
It's just one value metric, but: Brandon Lloyd and Kyle Orton have combined for 983 DYAR this season.
Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall have combined for 112 DYAR (two fewer games though). Brian Xanders/Josh McDaniels FTW? Well, at least until you look at how those draft picks were wasted. |
You obviously haven't seen the Bears O-line.
I wont lie I haven't seen them at all. Don't get me wrong I want the sacks but I don't see it happing but I do see a good D-fense outing. WE WIN. |

Home team generally gets a 3 point spread don't they? So this is basically even I think |

Yup, the home team usually gets a FG... but considering how both teams have been playing lately, it's interesting to see where the money's going. |
Re: It's F-ing Bears Week!
I will say this game seems to have AL's name written all over it. I really want this guy just to be this mean nasty monster and just crush the pocket. I really want him to be successful here. I know he has been dominated on in some games but I feel a big one coming from him. Just like Los gets at least to pass break ups his week not Int's, but break ups.

Re: It's F-ing Bears Week!
The spread will tighten a bit as we approach kick off. Vegas is betting the Skins will probably take this one, maybe by much as a touchdown.
|
Re: It's F-ing Bears Week!
I would say they need a couple of real WR as well. They arent just an oline away. Which by the way is a HUGE piece of the offensive puzzle as we all know.
I want to say we can win this game. I do not know if we will, but I know we can. I havent predicted any games this year as I honestly think this team is to hard to predict. BUT I do have good feeling about this one! |
Re: It's F-ing Bears Week!
I was looking at PFT and noticed that Dallas Clark's season is pretty much over due to hand/wrist injury.
I then wondered which Bear gets injured? But.... I think someone should start a thread with a list of players who got "knocked the "F" out" by the Skins. lol. Hasn't there been an opponant injured each game? |
