Re: Seems like Cutler might be available.
He's not that good and Jason is better. Cutler gets frustrated easily.

I think Cutler's got a huge upside and will be a star but right now he's just good enough to keep both teams in the game. |
Re: Seems like Cutler might be available.
i got faith in JC

Re: Seems like Cutler might be available.
Cutler? You guys can't be serious. Why would anyone trade Cutler for Campbell? For 25 TDs and 18 INTs?

Keep Campbell. See what he can do next year. We still have Colt. If Colt fails then we look.
I always have said that '09 is it for JC unless he can get us into the playoffs. He has been around for awhile guys, he is no longer a rookie. By this time you are either a bona fide Pro Bowl calibre guy or you aren't. JC has the tools, but he has negative tendencies, not unlike Ramsey with holding onto the ball too long, etc. ALso, I am doubting his leadership on the field. He needs to take control of the team as the franchise has made it clear he is the man. Right now, I don't see us making the playoffs until we properly address the offensive line, and even if we do it might take another season or two to get that probelm under control. I just don't see us resigning JC unless he gets us at least close next year to the SB. To me he is talented, but just an average QB in the NFL. Now if Gibbs were still coaching JC would have done better this past season and next season would be more promising. Bottom line is I think we are trying to fit square pegs into round holes with regards to JC/Brennan and the WCO. |

I like JC but Cutler is coming off a Pro Bowl season which he threw for 4,000 yards. Cutler seems like more of a playmaker and has a better release. Right now Cutler looks like the better QB and I'd trade the two straight up. |

Agreed... Cutler has HUGE potential ala Brett Favre, Campbell is a career journeyman with a game comparable to Kerry Collins... The Difference? Campbell needs all the pieces around him just right, and then just go out and not LOSE the game and the Redskins will win. Cutler, who is a gun slinger, Can make plays with his phisical ability, and more importantly HIS INSTINCTS, to win games.. Campbell does not have that kind of moxy, some guys have it, some don't.. |
Re: Seems like Cutler might be available.
Campbell for Cutler! I needed that laugh. Shouldn't we complete the Rock Cartwright for Adrian Peterson trade first?
HA HA HA There is a better chance of me being QB this year over Cutler. |

HA HA HA There is a better chance of me being QB this year over Cutler.
I agree its not going to happen, but if McDaniels brings a similar offense to Denver to what he ran in new england, campbell would be a much better fit for their offense. And Cutler is a much better fit for ours. Its not just about how talented a player may be - that player has to be in the right offense. Campbell isnt a good fit for our offense. He may improve, but if such a trade were made, it would be better for all parties involved (the teams and the quarterbacks.) |

I am sure that when McDaniels was interviewing he said, "Psst. By the way, I know Cutler made the Pro-Bowl but there is this secret weapon in Washington who we could bring here for cheap. If you don't hire me, please don't tell anyone my secret". If he traded Cutler for Campbell, there would be a riot in Denver. |

Re: Seems like Cutler might be available.
Why are we wasting our time on this?

Even better! Because we definitely get the best of Denver when we deal with them! |
