If LaVar gave back $4million, and he was due to get $6.5 million as a roster bounus then does this provide the team with a $10.5 million cap relief?
($4million + $6.5million = $10.5million)

that is what i am wondering. I don't think it can be 10.5 million but only the 4. If we also get back that 6.5 in june i am one happy camper. If not this deal makes no sense.

It sounds like we are just getting back the $4 million, but who knows. I'd be happy with just getting $4 million, but elated if we got $10.5.

i think denver also have some cap problems, man i hate denver as it is because i never want champ to win, hope lavar goes somewhere besides there, but would be better than nfc east

we would get 6.5 in june if we cut him then so why would we take 4 now. The deal might get done so i don't think it makes sense but i too think it is just 4 million. That is stupid.

i dont really know how much we get back or anything, but we would cut him now since we have to get under the cap by thurs, not by june. guess that would be the thinking behind it if that were the case

He was so happy to see that the Redskins cut him but down because free agentcy will not start today! Can you see Champ and Arrington in Denver??? :insane:

Denver is already up against the cap. Denver is rumored to be interested in John Abraham. Denver has a glut of linebackers (Wilson, Williams, and Gold). So, I doubt he'd go there.

I just want to keep him out of the division. Unfortunately, the Eagles, Giants, and Cowboys are all under the cap and are all definately in the market for a linebacker. The Eagles are replacing Keith Adams. The Cowboys are short a linebacker or two. The Giants also need help since Emmons, Griesen, and Green aren't going to be with them in 2006.

and dallas plays 4 lb but i doubt he will go there or he will be hated forever in d.c.
